Maybelline Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Mascara

I've tried many mascaras and this is by far my favorite one! I think my favorite thing about it is the way it applies. Because of the wand and the formula, it's not clumpy and it separates lashes very well, which is what I like to look for. I have natural light blonde hair and therefore blonde eyelashes, so a more natural looking mascara is super important to me; I'm still on the hunt for a brown (not brown-black) mascara that ideally, has the same effect as this one, but in the meantime, this is my everyday grab. I have naturally long eyelashes so of course this makes my lashes look long, but I think there's better mascaras if you really want length, although it does add some length, just not oodles. If you're looking for volume, this one just doesn't give that to me, there's other mascaras that do volume way better. I know by the past two sentences it makes it sound like this isn't great, but trust me, it is! This mascara is for those who want their lashes to look natural but still want mascara, they don't need their lashes to look like anything other than their lashes. and what an easy apply where they don't have to brush through their lashes with a separate tool after they apply their mascara to separate them. This formula is super easy to take off at the end of the day, which is fantastic if you ask me! It doesn't flake throughout the day (maybe a few minor flakes at most through the day) but it just comes right off at night so you can get your beauty sleep! It does have a smell to it (reminds me of my mother's makeup in the late 2000s) and does irritate my eyes if I accidentally poke myself in the eye with the wand, but I have sensitive eyes. The thing it will irritate most is your nose, but it's not the most offensive smelling mascara I've used. Overall, I think this is a fantastic mascara, it works perfectly the way I intend to use mascara, which is just as an everyday product to make me look a little kept up and bring a little attention to my eyes. This isn't a mascara that people will think it looks bad, many people have asked me what mascara I'm wearing when I wear this actually. I think it's a 10/10, but you have to take everyone's reviews with a grain of salt since this might not work the same for you and if you don't want an easy-to-wear everyday mascara and want something a little more dramatic, this might not be for you.

This could be considered a dupe for Lancome's Definicils Mascara. It definitely lengthens and does add shine, however it also causes my lashes to become a little clumpy towards the top. It also smudges at the end of the day but that's most likely due to my oily eyelids. It lasts a while though before that happens and the issue is non-existent if I use lash primer. Overall a very solid mascara.

I read reviews and wanted to try it out. Although it does lengthen your lashes, it left mine sparse. Not my favorite look. I'll probably use it as a backup when my usual runs out.

This mascara darkens my lashes great. It covers very neatly, with no clumps. The brush gets to the bottom of the lashes well. It is not really a thickening mascara, but it does make my lashes stand out
