Can this be used with the ordinary niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%? Would you reccomend this for combination skin? Is it okay to use a gel moisturizer after?
- Asked by V
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHello! Yes, we recommend using Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% after Lactic Acid 5% + HA . Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is great for combination skin as it can help with sebum (oil) regulation. A gel moisturizer, such as Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan is a great option to seal it in afterwards! We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Does this stay the skin after application or do I need to rinse it off after a few minutes? I'm unclear because some reviews are saying they rinse it off after applying and letting it sit for a few minutes? Also can I apply a hyaluronic acid serum and face oil or moisturizer after using this ?
- Asked by Jh15
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageLactic Acid 5% + HA is a leave-on treatment. You may apply Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, face oils, and moisturizer after. We do not recommend using Lactic Acid 5% + HA in the same regimen as Copper Peptides, Direct Viatmin C, EUK, Niacinamide Powder, Peptides, Retinoids, Direct Acids, Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner, GF 15% Solution, or Multi-Active Delivery Essence. Was this answer helpful to you

Im using Lactic Acid 10% from a month and happy so far. Its really gentle for my super dry skin. Faced no irritation. Few days back, I ordered 5% Lactic avid for my sister. Today got the parcel and Im really confused. The color is different from the picture and from the one Im currently using. Please please confirm whether the product I got is original or fake?? That would be a great help. Dont want to waste the product in confusion or risk skin. Im attaching photos. (Im from Pakistan).

This stuff is great ! I've been using for 6 weeks and have seen excellent results. It's also helped with my stubborn blackheads which is amazing and I didn't purge. Super gentle as well. Especially since i'm someone who purges like crazy. Definitely recommend! I use this with Glycolic acid toner, niacinimide and zinc (after as a spot treatment) alpha arbutin serum and a moisturizer
Good!
I use this product to encourage cell turnover/ exfoliation. I only apply it once or twice a week because I have sensitive skin. I always notice a difference in my skin afterwards! It does a great job get rid of dead skin and my face has more of a glow.
Milia
I really wanted to like this product. It did help with my breakouts, my skin did get softer & bright, & it's super inexpensive. BUT after about a week of using it I started getting little tiny hard pimples like milia. It's been a couple of months since I've stopped using it & the milia is still there.
