How To Use

Read all directions and warnings included with the product before application. Perform a skin allergy patch test 48 hours before each use of KERACANVAS product.

MIXING:

  1. Add full contents* of bleach tub to plastic or ceramic bowl. DO NOT use metal bowls or metal tools.
  2. Mix in full contents of developer bottle. Stir until the mixture is a smooth consistency and there are no lumps. *If you are only doing your roots and/or do not require as much product, mix one-part bleach to two parts developer. Use a scale for accuracy. For example, 1oz of bleach would be mixed with 2oz of developer.

APPLICATION:

  1. Wear included gloves and cover clothing. Start with dry, un-shampooed and detangled hair. Start at the crown of the head and work in small sections. Finish your roots last, as they tend to lift faster.

2.Using a hair applicator brush, fully saturate each section, working the bleach down the hair. Leave the roots for the last step, as they will lift quicker.
3. After all sections are fully saturated go back and apply bleach to your roots* and any missed spots. 4. Wait 30-45 min paying close attention to the condition of your hair while processing. Check every 10 min. To check the process, wipe excess product from a small of piece of hair using your gloved hand. If the hair is not lightened enough, leave mixture on longer. DO NOT leave on for more than 45 minutes!
5. Rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water, ensuring that all product is washed out.

*If you are only bleaching your roots, do not apply over previously bleached hair. Overlapping could cause excessive damage to hair.

Read all directions and warnings before application. Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of KERACANVAS, as allergies can develop suddenly, even though you have previously used this product or similar products from other brands in the past.

  • Do not use if you have sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp.
  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
  • Do not get mixture in eyes; to do so may cause blindness. If mixture gets into eyes rinse immediately with lukewarm water and seek medical help if necessary.
  • If you need to wear contact lenses during application and mixture gets into eyes, remove lenses first, then flush immediately with lukewarm water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
  • Do not apply directly on scalp.
  • Wear disposable gloves when applying.
  • Do not cover or apply heat while product is on your hair.
  • Thoroughly rinse hair after application.

Over very impressed!!

My store was out of the Manic Panic bleach I normally used. So after standing there reading all the boxes I decided to try this one. So happy I did as I think I like it more than the Manic Panic!! It is a purple toned, cream bleach with 35 developer. It started working super fast and was already ver...

Made my treated hair gummy

I've been using box dye for about 4 or 5 years now and have started bleaching (not regularly) about a year or two ago. Previously I've only used punky color (40 vol) and manic panic (35 vol), which both worked fine for what I needed. I wanted to try bleach that was supposedly better quality and my m...

was really hard to rinse out

this stuff lightened pretty well. I was in a pinch and this seemed decent. I loved how easy it was to distribute, but when it came time to rinse,it took a good half hour to rinse this bad boy out. I'm not sure if I didn't mix it well enough or maybe my water pressure sucked. it was clinging onto my skin and I had to scrap it off with my fingernails. D: I was pretty sad,but wanted to give the warning/heads up.

Lifted roots fast but now hair is yellow!

I had already dyed my hair blonde twice to get it platinum blonde. I used this because my roots needed a touch up and it turned my whole head yellow! It said the product contained 35 volumes of bleach so I didn't do more than 30 minutes and somehow the hair that was bright blonde is now suddenly yellow. I have to use other products to try and get it back to platinum. 12 weeks of work down the drain. I am very disappointed.

Extremely Pleased

I bought this product for a couple of reasons: I needed to color correct my lengths (which had permanent color) and lighten my roots. My roots were about a 6, and my lengths roughly 8.5-9. I've used several products in the past, but this was by far my best experience. There was no overwhelming scent, it mixed easily without clumping, and it applied smoothly. I achieved the results I wanted in about 15 minutes (my hair lifts super easy). FYI: My hair is barely below my shoulders, fine, and thin. One box worked for me, but I would venture anyone with longer and/or thicker hair would need more than one box.

Made my treated hair gummy

I've been using box dye for about 4 or 5 years now and have started bleaching (not regularly) about a year or two ago. Previously I've only used punky color (40 vol) and manic panic (35 vol), which both worked fine for what I needed. I wanted to try bleach that was supposedly better quality and my mom picked this up. she used some and it came out splotchy and she ended up going to a salon to fix it, but since I was planning to put color over it, I didn't really mind. I had done a test strand on both the treated section of my hair and my roots, which had been growing out for about 3-4 months, it made the treated section very gummy and brittle. It did lift my dirty blonde roots very well but I ended up not dying the rest of my roots because I was nervous about the already dyed ends of my hair. If you have hair that's not treated, it'll probably be fine but I would definitely do a test strand.

Best bleach kit!

I am absolutely amazed by the results from using this bleach kit. I have level 4 dark brown hair and it lifted to a level 10 platinum!! I didn't wash my hair for about a week so the bleach wouldn't burn my scalp. Honestly I left it on for 45 minutes and it didn't even feel like anything was on my head, it didn't burn one bit!! I also did a buzzcut right before using the bleach so I feel like that says a lot for it to not irritate my scalp at all. I'm highly impressed and using this in combination with the platinum clenditioner is *chefs kiss*
