Great all over powder
I use this to set down my foundation on my cheeks, forehead, and nose. I'm super oily, literally all over my face by the end of the day; this powder does a great job of absorbing that oil throughout the day so i don't have an oil slick by the afternoon. The powder puff is large, so application is super efficient. Its definitely worth the price tag.
I love this powder
When I first started doing makeup I used Laura Mercier setting powder in the original formula and I like that one. Once this powder came out I was excited to try it. When applied the powder feels so silky and smooth on my skin and does a good job at controlling oil. I tend to have very oily skin and throughout the day have to blot the oil off my forehead, but this powder does a great job at controlling the oil. I like how it is more fine than the original Laura Mercier powder. I ordered it in Translucent as I have a fairer skin tone. I have used this powder before and decided to repurchase it and get the jumbo this time and it came with a powder puff which is nice for larger areas. I do however like to use a triangle shaped puff to set under my eyes, which I would say is the only downside about this product is that the powder puff is large and circular, but if that is what you are looking for then it should be fine
