Given there are three forms of retinol in this product, what is the percentage of retinol in the entire product? Is it 1%, 3%, 10%? I have sensitive skin and understanding the overall percentage of retinol would be very helpful.

- Official Answer By Perricone MD - Brand EngageThe percentage of retinol doesn't equate to high tolerability, it's the type of retinoids being used. We utilize a triple retinol blend which includes encapsulated retinol (this gives you tremendous benefits of retinol but in a slow, time released format that allows it to be highly tolerable for sensitive skin types), phtyo-retinol which is plant-derived retinol which is incredible for sensitive skin and retinol esters which take some time to convert to retinoic acid, also translating to being highly tolerable for sensitive skin. We also feature a vegetable triglyceride complex (a complex made up of vegetable lipids/fats) and the purpose of this is to 1. help buffer any potential side effects of the retinol also contributing to overall high tolerability of the product on all skin types including sensitive, but also strengthens the moisture barrier allowing skin to become very hydrated and supple.Was this answer helpful to you

I'm very picky when it comes to Retinol Moisturizers. This one by far has been my favorite. Not greasy plus I think it smells great compared to other high end brands. It has helped with my hormonal acne a lot. The key is being consistent with use. My skin did purge a little but well worth it. A little goes a long way too. My acne scars are fading plus skin tone is evening out. If you are new to using retinol, definitely start with only using 2-3 times a week at night and then can build up from there. I use mine 4-5 times a week at night.

I am a huge fan of Perricone's High Potency Growth Factor Firming & Lifting Serum so I decided to give this Retinol Recover Moisturizer a shot. After a week of using the product, my skin felt oily, humid and I was starting to break out, something I rarely experience in my 40s. I'm definitely going back to the Lifting Serum as it renders my skin absolutely perfect. I communicated all of this to Perricone's customer service and all they have done is ask for the batch # and expiration date of the product and tell me they have to "investigate" to let me know if they can give me a refund. I find this absolutely ridiculous. If a product doesn't work for my skin, it doesn't work for my skin. There is nothing to "investigate", unless, of course, you don't trust me. And as a customer of Perricone's since the 2000s, I'm pretty annoyed by all of this. Also annoyed because I'm asking for a full refund so I can buy the even more expensive Lifting Serum! I'm planning to spend MORE money with Perricone! Also, when I tried out one of Perricone's Cold Plasma products, it also made my skin break out. I told customer service at the time what had happened and what did they do then? They apologized and gave me a full refund, no questions asked. Perricone, your customer service is total crap now. I will never try a new product with you again, not if I know that this is the kind of treatment I'll get.

Your skin is your largest organ - take care of it! I have only been using this product for the past week. Yesterday morning before washing my face and running off to my son's tournament with another weekend at the ballpark, my husband stopped me and commented on healthy and, as I say, "happy" my skin looks. Very pleased with it! Now he's using it and I'll be getting him his own for Father's Day. I've never been much for makeup or washing my face at night (terrible I know). I have been using mostly Perricone products for 10 years now. Simple routine for the most part. 3 kids later and closer to 40 than 30 now, my husband is mid 40's and our skin needs a little more TLC than it used to. Happy I tried this product and look forward to adding more to maintain the youth in our skin we do have with PMd!
