You don't know it yet, but you need this!
Perfect size & solidly made - I can clean any size of brush & get in-between the bristles without any difficulties or missed areas at last! I've been using a hair pick, an old toothbrush, a great brush shampoo for both my makeup brushes & hairbrushes, & sometimes a Q-Tip to get to hair to reach hairbrush beds (is that the correct word for the "bed" on a brush where the bristles are anchored? I'm not sure lol). I usually add a little bit of brush shampoo (liquid) in a small bowl with warm water, stir it up, & after removing as much hair as possible from the brush itself with a solid, unbreakable hair pick, the occasional Q-Tip, & anything else including tweezers to get to the "junk" on that "bristle bed" of my hairbrushes & remove it. Then, I wet the hairbrush lightly & use an extra toothbrush specifically kept for cleaning these things to apply the soap/water mix to the hairbrush before scrubbing as well as it can be done. I always feel like I didn't get all of the areas thoroughly clean because it's almost impossible to do... Until now, I mean! Using this sturdy but miniscule hairbrush brush gets in-between all the bristles to gather all the debris & hair, like a yard rake & a ton of fallen leaves. You can get to all those places that are otherwise impossible to clean no matter how thickly bristled your hairbrush is or what kind of hair you have. Why did it take so long for someone to invent this?! *Only complaint - I work in logistics. This packaging was a tiny box the size of a lipstick inside a much larger box plus packing paper wadded up to fill the space. Why pay for shipping air & wasting resources from trees plus space on a truck equaling usage of diesel fuel? LTL shipping is expensive enough & it's based on the accuracy of packaging, the dimensions including the box size, weight (length/width/height/weight/packaging type), & item type (content code, in laymans terms) accuracy under NMFTA regulations for safe, timely shipping. If you're charging customers to ship their order, they are overpaying by a long shot & there's plenty of waste involved in the packaging resources & the fuel wasted. LTL loads should be as compact as possible to avoid taking up additional space on a truck & paying the carrier to use that space despite not needing it all. Fuel plus space plus overuse of paper products for a tiny item that fits in the palm of your hand? Let me know when you're ready because you need a huge improvement in your shipping strategies for your business to CUT MASSIVE COSTS in your shipping/receiving department. This item was shipped by itself - by being shipped in this manner, it cost more for the boxes of air & paper filling than the item itself. This is NOT the way you make the most off your sales! Almost evey item purchased from Ulta is terribly packaged & costs a lot more to ship than it would have if you had had a truly competent logistics manager.*
