How To Use

Simply pour the Wakse beans in a Wakse Melting Pot or Melting Pot Electric, place in the microwave oven and heat for 45 second intervals until Wakse is the consistency of honey. Actual heat times may vary depending on your microwave/wax warmer settings. If consistency is too thin, allow to cool and thicken. Test Wakse's temperature on wrist before application.

Firmly apply Wakse in the direction of hair growth. Leave to cool, then firmly peel off Wakse, pulling it back in the opposite direction of the hair growth.

A reusable spatula is included inside of every Wakse retail jar.

Precautions: Ensure the wax is not too hot or too cold before applying to skin.

Do not use on broken or irritated skin.

Do not use if your skin has suffered any adverse reactions to wax in the past.

Do not use it within 2 hours after taking a shower, or sunbathing. If you are on medication that affects skin or you have a skin related disorder, consult your doctor before use. Keep out of reach from Children.

Retail jar is NOT microwave safe.

Best at home wax I've used so far

For the price, it's well worth it. It may be a small container but honestly, you don't have to use it as much as you think, if you wax in sections on the bikini area one at a time, you can reduce overusing. The smell is AMAZING! Patchy and Doesn't Work!

I have long, dark arm hair I wanted desperately to get rid of (I am ethnic for anyone wondering). I thought this would be a pain-free, easy solution. So many problems with this that I'll be returning it: - ngl the smell and color are kind of nice - The wax took forever in the microwave to warm up, ...

Hard-ish wax

This is not exactly a hard wax. It takes a good while for it to harden. I have extremely thick coarse hair in some areas and fine in others. I used this on my chin where I get those lovely PCOS thick black hairs. It worked fine but did not harden. I turned the heat down about 20 degrees compared to my other brand of hard wax and it worked much better and thickened up. I bought this on store and it was pretty pricey for such a small container. Given the fact that you have to have the wax thick enough to get a good wax, I don't personally think it's worth the money. Especially not with so many other options. Smells great and left minimal residue, as long as I had a thick enough smear and let it harden for a good 3-5 minutes. Not my favorite but it's ok.

Really Really Good

As a guy I use this every Spring/Summer as I am an avid cyclist. I've got fairly hairy legs and this is way faster than trying to shave it all.

For the price, it's well worth it. It may be a small container but honestly, you don't have to use it as much as you think, if you wax in sections on the bikini area one at a time, you can reduce overusing. The smell is AMAZING! It's a very flexible formula that is really gentle. the results last a good amount of time. I have been a licensed esthetician so the key to a good wax and knowing how to do it properly takes being trained properly. I notice a lot of people who complain have no idea what they're doing, just to be real. The microwave method is a terrible idea and while the description offers the option I would never recommend that, spend on the wax heater. Always clean the area first, and I recommend powdering so you get the best grip on the hairs with the wax, you can even use plain corn starch if you already have it available, better since it has no added fragrances. If you aren't a professional then you def need to make sure you put the wax on thick enough to pull easily and pull across while holding the area with one hand and pulling across with the other, ACROSS NOT UP/ exfoliate about 24/48hrs after gently. These are just basic steps to ensure you do a good wax if you're not trained by a professional, and again DO NOT USE THE MICROWAVE TO HEAT THE WAX! buy the warmer! The wax temp can not be properly maintained by having to microwave it, and it's wax, it's going to cool off fast and harden that's what it does people.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Must have!

This is a must have at home wax. I experienced a lot different waxes and this so far is the best one. It's nice and thick and the scent is not over powering at all which is perfect. Wasn't as painful as other waxes either. I warm my wax pot on low to medium so you don't burn and twirl your stick for 20 seconds then apply and it was just right to skin touch. Already have another container ready to buy.

I have used Wakse for almost a year now and absolutely ADORE the bubble gum blast and the Rose Gold Wax. This Gold Wax however, was the ABSOLUTE MOST PAINFUL Wax experience I have had in my entire 27 years of life.
