If you can get it PERFECT, it's a great product
TL;DR It takes way too much effort to use this "correctly" and you might still end up with a weird looking glow. IMO, it's too finicky. My Process: I am quite pale and have dry skin, so I moisturize and exfoliate like crazy before using this — in-shower full-body exfoliation with glove made of nuts...

not sure about this
I purchased this because it was cute and affordable when I went to my local Ulta. It smells nice and is a thick-to-watery formulation. I watched a few tiktoks about this product and followed a few tips. moisturize dry areas. apply 1-2 pumps per limb and RUB LIKE YOUR LIFE (TAN) DEPENDS ON IT. I've read that the best way to avoid streaks is by rubbing it in until it is DRY and no longer wet. I put it on at 8:15 am and it is currently 11:50 and I don't really see a difference. the packaging doesn't say how long to leave it on because it's technically a rinse-free formulation. but I looked it up online and it said 4 hours minimum. I don't really see a difference yet. will update if anything changes.
Chewed, swallowed, and ATE
Im hooked, this is a lazy girl's dream! All i did was dry brush, shower, applied with a mitt, and waited 5 hours. No stains on my sheets or clothes and im golden and glowy!! Im seriously confused how some of the other reviews mentioned streaks becuase this self tanner looks so seamless and leaves my skin so soft. Only complaint…. It kinda smells like cheezits. Not noticeable unless you put your skin up to your nose but its a little weird lol. Definitely purchasing again!

I always use this after I take an everything shower in the winter and it gives the cutest tan shade I love it! However, it does smell like cheez its after a few hours of being on. I usually sleep with it on and take a shower the next morning. Also the tan doesn't wash off in the shower, I really love this product!! It fades in probably about a week which is perfect for me because I take my everything shower once a week. It's important to shave and exofoliate so you don't end up with an uneven tan!
Good but takes practice!
I've been using this tanner for almost two years now and I have several tips and tricks if you're getting bad results with it. Firstly, you NEED to exfoliate and shave before application or you will not get the results you want. Second, despite what the advertising may say, you need to use a mit. It will stain your hands even if you wash them directly after application. Lastly, this product does have an unpleasant smell the longer it sits, as most sunless tanners do. This is marketed as a no-rinse tanner which is true, but the smell will linger. I would advise applying it at night and showering in the morning with a scented bodywash. HOWEVER. Before showering, you need to wait 12 hours so the tan can develop fully or else the color will become streaky and uneven. This is a great and affordable product if you take your time with it!!
Love this but you have to wear a mit.
I love this product, other than the semi false advertising, It says you don't have to use a mit and can use your bare hands. I washed my hands after putting this on and it still made my hands look horrible, but otherwise this product gave me nice tan.
