I have dry/sensitive skin coupled with allergies. I've incorporated vitamin c into my skincare for years (to fight my freckles). I have a hard time finding products that don't break me out or eventually trigger an allergic reaction. This is gentle enough for my skin, heavy on the active ingredients, with the quickest results I have seen from any skin care product. I've ran out of this a couple of times, and the difference when not using it is noticeable. Within 2 days of morning and night use, my skin is softer. Within 5 days I have less dry patches. Within 7-10 I can notice the brightening and evening out of my complexion. Well worth the price tag.

I use a vit c serum every am. I have normal skin (31 yrs old). I recently purchased this to try but I would prefer it as my vit c serum for the winter months as it contains oils so it's much more moisturizing than my regular serums. This serum does not cause any redness or stinging so I would recommend it for sensitive skin types as well or mature skin types In need of the extra hydration. Overall, this serum is effective. Also, the scent is not offensive as you might associate with an algae based product. Not bad.
