For the perfect manicure, apply one coat of any essie base coats on nails. Follow with two coats of essie original nail color. Finish with gel setter top coat. Use with essie apricot cuticle oil.

Greet shine, not so great wear

Plumping Top Coat
I love this top coat. Goes on so smoothly and dries quickly, even in the Florida humidity. No sheet marks the next morning. I usually do my own nails, but didn't have time before going on a trip. Stopped at a fancy salon in Savannah and they couldn't believe I didn't have gel polish on. It took a bit of convincing, but they were shocked when it came right off with polish remover. It's so plump and keeps my nails strong. I reapply every 2 days to prevent chips and keep my nails super shiny.
I've had this on a whole week and NO CHIPS
Had my doubts about this, but it works! I look like I had a gel manicure and it's just regular polish with this as a top coat. LOVE! No more ruining my nails.
Stringy Mess
This worked really well for about a quarter of the bottle, then it started getting really stringy and wouldn't go smoothly on my nails. it leaves pockets uncovered and sticks to itself so you can't correct it. Not worth the money and way too fickle to trust, especially with nail art.
Definitely worth the buy
This topcoat is amazing gives my nails a beautiful shine and doesn't chip off. I can keep my nails polished for over a week and still looks like I just got them done. I use at home and also take with me to the salon. Great product also like the gel couture line by Essie as well. Picture below nail polish on 7 days no chip or peeling .

I just wanted to take a moment to give credit where credit is due. I bought this gel-setter topcoat by at the drugstore. I applied two coats over my three coats of regular crème polish. I used it on my vacation nails and my manicure lasted 11 days with minimal chipping. To me, this is outstanding because during my vacation I was in the ocean and the hot tub. I built Sandcastles. I did anything and everything I wanted to do, so I feel that they held up fairly well. So kudos to you Essie!
