Hello. Is it normal for this product to burn during application? I had done a quick cleans with some manual exfoliation prior to using this product to second cleanse and experienced burning? I'm hoping it's just because of the exfoliation I did prior to. I didn't realize until after that this product does have mild chemical exfoliation in it😳. BTW, Lancome is one of my top brands, I really hope its user error 😔.

I use the Lancome Crème Mousse Confort Creamy Foaming Cleanser. But want to double cleanse with a make up remover. Can I use the Milky Creme Cleanser before the Confort Creamy Cleanser or do they do the same thing?

We recommend using an oil-based cleanser first to remove makeup and impurities from the skin, following that with a foaming cleanser. We recommend trying our Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover, and then cleansing with our Crème Radiance Cream to Foam Cleanser for oily skin, or our Mousse Radiance Cleanser for dryer skin types. Good makeup remover, but not for eyes
I actually like this product since it only takes a pump or two to melt my makeup or SPF off my face before cleansing. The only issue (which is a dealbreaker for me) is that the formula seems to burn/irritate my skin and especially around the eye area. I was really hoping for this to be a great double cleanser/all around makeup remover but it really fell flat with the irritation. If Lancome reworked the formula to include eye area testing (in another question they stated they did not test this product for the eyes) that would be a GAME CHANGER. Personally. I think any makeup remover should at least not irritate the eyes.

This is a wonderful product for removing makeup. However, the sales person states that it also "cleans the skin" and therefore only one product is needed. It removes makeup but you will need to use a "cleanser" to get your face really clean.
