Redken products can be used without any fear of skin or scalp irritation as the contact with the skin is very short. Sulphates are ingredients that create the foaming effect of shampoos and shower gels for example and that help rid the skin and hair of soiling. To identify them in our products, look at the ingredients list on packaging. Beware if your hair doesn't respond well to protein!!
I used this shampoo regularly for years. I couldn't figure out why the ends of my hair kept snapping off. I finally learned that hair care products that contain protein also cause hair to become dry and brittle. Now, none of my hair products contain protein, and my hair is healthy again. I love Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo. The Extreme formula needs to go in the trash.

i tried this after spening way too much on ouai, and i was told id love it. The first few washes were fine but made my hair feel dry without a masque. After about 2 months of using it now, my hair feels so greasy and oily. ive never had oily hair and its a lot i washed my hair 2 days ago and it looks like i put coconut oil in my hair.
