3 stars, definitely would not work on super thick hair
I barely feel anything when using this which means it's much more gentle, but the bristles are much shorter than I thought they would be. if my hair gets any thicker this brush simply won't function (I even have to brush sections more than once to effectively brush). it also does not help with frizz...

This brush solves so many problems with using a bristle brush on very thick hair! The proportion of boar and tipped nylon bristle is perfect and it glides right through, while the boar bristles really do distribute oils right down the hair shaft. Great price!
