Long Time Friend

I have been using Eight Hour Cream since my 20's (now 66). I bought my first jar when it was in a giant, beautiful, black and gold jar! I loved diving into that jar an using the cream on my face, hands and lips to keep them smooth. My husband even got used to the "scent" and loved it. Bring back t...

Excellent Skin Protection and Multi Purpose Cream

This cream has an unusual odor, however it fades fairly quick. I love this because not only does it have a creamy base but it also contains SA which gently exfoliates and keeps pores clear so you do not have to worry about acne. This is an excellent skin protectant and truly stood the test of time. The texture is more like an ointment for reference.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I was really impressed with the effectiveness of the Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant, especially during harsh cold weather. My lips were extremely chapped, and after applying it before bed, I noticed a significant improvement overnight—they felt soothed and much more hydrated by morning. The texture is smooth and comforting, providing an immediate sense of relief. While the scent wasn't my favorite, it's a minor drawback compared to how well it works. The packaging is also a plus—sleek, practical, and easy to carry around. Definitely a must-have for winter skincare!

I'm disappointed with the lack of information on their ingredient list. Not on the box nor packaging, and not listed on the website under the product. I wanted to know because the smell was very strong and smelled like Vicks. Will not be using this because of the ingredient discretion. It was very thick and obviously made of petroleum

This product is very moisturizing. I'm a nurse and my hands get very dry because I would use hand gel and wash my hands very frequently at work. I gave it 4 stars only because of its thickness. It really helps with my dry hands and helps soften my skin but it somewhat feels greasy, it just needs a little time to soak in. But hey, it works!

The texture and formula of this product is much different than what I expected from the name. I thought this would be a lotion but it has more of a petroleum jelly-like feel. It is very thick and sticky going on, so a little goes a long way. I tried putting this on the bottom of my cracked feet and the first time I used way too much product and had residue. I would use a pea-sized amount. This product does well at helping those chapped places, but it's not for me. It has a very medicinal smell to me. Kind of a mix between cherry and mint, which may be some people's cup of tea, but it's not for me. Also I don't like the lingering sticky residue.
