Q
Is this product non comedogenic also like the gel cleanser cause it doesn't say on the bottle
Asked by V
Official Answer By La Roche-Posay - BE
Hello there! The term non-comedogenic indicates that the product has a low potential for clogging pores. The presence or absence of oil in a product does not mean a product will or will not be non-comedogenic. Not all products are tested for non-comedogenicity. If the non-comedogenic claim does not appear on the product, it is not an indication the product is comedogenic. This goes the same for the Effaclar Gel Facial Wash for Oily Skin. This cleanser is definitely not the right one for me. Even though I have a really oily t-zone, this is way too drying for me. It makes my skin all tight and dry afterwards. I really like the scent of this, but I also wish it was scented at the same time as fragrance isn't good for the skin. If you l...

The best cleanser. I use it in the morning and it makes my larger pores seem smaller. It is not harsh and drying. It is almost like a gentle exfoliator. Love!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

This face wash probably works fine but I dislike the smell of it so much that I can't bring myself to use it. It's a weird chemical smell and it lingers on my skin after washing and rinsing.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This is a great product. It works well for my oily/combination skin. I am so glad I started using it. Now, the only problem is I can't find it anywhere in stores or online. It was really helping my skin and now I am scrambling to find a replacement.
