After shampooing, thoroughly towel-dry hair to remove excess water.* Brush out hair using a detangling brush or comb, and separate into large sections. Place the Double Shot underneath each section and work it slowly from roots to ends, until the section is dry and smooth. For volume at the roots, use horizontally at the crown. The Double Shot can also be used on dry hair to create a smooth, finished look.
*For extra-thick or long hair, it may be necessary to rough-dry hair with a regular blow-dryer before using The Double Shot.

Double shot
For someone like me who has had super thick hair her entire life, finding a dryer that cuts dry time and styles just the way I want it seemed almost impossible. I've tried MULTIPLE dryer brushes (one actually caught fire because it just couldn't handle this thick mane of mine) and non of them lasted...

Piece of junk
I've had it for 9 months and it's…not good. I feel like the cheap Revlon brush is better and I am definitely going to move up to the Dyson air wrap. This gets so hot it burns the yellow tips (making them brown) before each individual brush falls off completely (see pic). Super bummed.

Short Life Span
I love this product but unfortunately it does not last beyond 2 years (and that's a stretch even). I have had 3 of these since November 2021. The warranty is only for 1 year... the 1st died after the 1 year mark and I wasn't eligible for a replacement. The 2nd died just under a year and I was able to get a free replacement. Well, my 3rd just died and will be 2 years old in April. These are very expensive for such a short life span.
Made my hair rough
It pulled my hair out as it was getting stuck in something and made my hair feel rough
Lasted 1 month.
I received this item for Christmas and was ao excited to use it! Worked great the first few times, just took a while to get all of my long hair done on the low setting (recommended for my hair type in the manual). Until the fourth use, a month in. Then it just died. Hasn't turned back on since. Died halfway through doing my hair. We are outside of the return window so I can't go that route. Unfortunately, I don't feel that its worth spending the money on giving this a second try.
Great for voluminous bouncy hair
I LOVE this! I usually blow dry with a round brush then flat iron. I used this after blow drying until my hair was a little damp, and i was so impressed with the softness and volume i got. I felt like Farrah Fawcet! My hair stylist recommended to use a regular blow dryer first (until hair is half dry) to minimize damage. Very easy to use, especially if youre used to drying with a round brush. I was able to get more tension and curling with this tool because i can use both hands. My hair is naturally very curly and frizzy, but not after using this.
