Unfortunately not for me
I was really looking forward to trying this lip stain. The colors are nice, and there isn't an intense bitter flavor if you happen to lick your lips. However, there is a strong grape fragrance, which was too much for me. The stain also had a tendency to feather and rub off. It might work better on younger lips. Be sure to set it up for success by letting it dry on pulled, unrelaxed lips.
Lasts longer than Benefit!
This lip stain lasts longer than ALL of my Benefit lip stains snd it even stays put after eating and drinking!
Reminds me of jelly
Last summer, I purchased Etude's Dear Darling Water Lip Tint in Strawberry Ade. Yes, it's watery indeed. When you apply it to your lips like lip balm with the balm, it's reminiscent of strawberry jam or jelly. It did tint my lips in a strawberry pink color. Overall, it kept it hydrated and moist all day long.
Previous 5-star review was for ulta water lip stain!
This feathers INSTANTLY, like it was sucked into every line around my lips. Stain is okay otherwise, so if you're young and don't have lip lines yet, go for it. My previous review on this product was actually for Ulta's water lip stain. Oy. Oops.
Works, sheer effect, moderate stain duration
This is one of my favorite lip stains. It's not the most long lasting, but it has decent sheer-looking color. Despite the water thin texture, it doesn't bleed in my lip lines, and dries down fast. Easy to apply and layers for deeper color.
