Literally my go to eyeshadow
Definitely by far my all time favorite eyeshadow! Easy to apply and last all day and night! The shimmer never flakes off on your face. It is just the holy grail for a shimmer eyeshadow! You can use it as an eyeliner also. It's flawless! Definitely give this a try and Ulta please never discontinue this product!
Irritated my eyes
Beautiful stunning glittery color however it goes on a bit wet and heavy. It really irritated my contacts. I had to discontinue using.
This is probably best to use as a base
This product goes on thinner than I expexted and there is a beautiful purple glitter which I do like as I was going to use this as a base for my green & purple multichrome eyeshadow looks however when I wiped this off my hand after testing it when I got home, the micro glitter got everywhere… so my hand is going to be glittery for a while and I am nervous to use it on my face because of that. I think it will be worth the price though, despite that.
Very pretty
I would say the marketing photos/ swatches are pretty accurate to how it looks like in person. I got tornado haze and it was a lot of pink sparkle with a brownish green base (not super noticeable). I wore eyeshadow primer and it creased, not a crazy amount but i thought it wasnt going to. My only note
Holy Grail G.O.A.T.!
I'd gotten this in Flash Storm and loved it so much, I got a back-up. Then I also got Dusk Rush & Hail Surge during the recent Ulta 21 days of beauty sale. This is pretty much THE BEST eyeshadow I have EVER used (and I have many decades of daily makeup experience - - I've been a cosmetics junkie since I was a tween). If you use a little of this, it looks fantastic. If you use a lot, it looks fantastic. It feels literally cool when you apply it, and goes on and blends SO easily, it's mind-blowing. Tap onto your lids and it lasts forever until you remove it. I've bought hundreds of eyeshadows in my time & am a big fan of the "one 'n done" types. These are the Queen of that genre. The High Priestess, even. No wonder it's sold out. I hope KVD doesn't discontinue this, but keeps on making it.
