I used the Hard Hold gel on my wavy/curly hair for 3+ years. I loved it for the great cast and I only needed to use a little for great results. Last time I ordered, I received one bottle of the Hard Hold and one bottle of the Flash Freeze because they were reformulating it and the sku had not changed. This week I had multiple bad wash days in a row, with really stringy and frizzy hair. The only thing that changed in my routine was that my Hard Hold bottle ran out and I started on the Flash Freeze bottle. I'm disappointed that I need to find something new. I recommended the previous formulation to all my curly friends!

My new holy grail product! My hair has been so dry and frizzy in the humidity. With this, my curls/waves last for at least a day, and my hair stays so healthy and hydrated until my next wash.

I am quite pleased with this product for my curly hair. I was searching for definition and strong hold, and it truly provided the cast I desired, which I then followed up with oil to break the cast.

This gel is terrible. It does not go onto your hair smoothly, it leaves your hair clumpy even if you comb it in. My hair felt sticky and got tangled within minutes. I had to wash my hair with shampoo twice to get the gel out.
