Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. When hair is still damp, divide into 4-6 sections. Spread a nickel size dollop through each section, with your fingers seprated like a rake. Rake section from scalp to ends, then holding the ends, shake hair back and forth to create curls. Repeat process for each section. Let hair dry naturally or blow-dry with a diffuser.

Awful, drying not worth the money
For this price and from this brand I would expect more. PLUS it says it is Moisturizing! Far from the truth. It made my hair dry and it felt like I put rubbing alcohol all through my hair. I wish I had known that the second ingredient is alcohol, I never would have bought it. How can it be moisturiz...

The gel is a runny consistency works well for my curly hair. It is not sticky, it is buildable and does not leave any white residue. I would definitely recommend.

No Hold. I tried this on top of curlsmith hold me softly. I diffused. It took a long time for my hair to dry with the diffuser. Afterwards there wasn't any hold and I didn't notice any shine at all and there was a bit frizziness which usually doesn't happen with my curlsmith dippity do gel combo. This may be for others but not me. For reference I have 3b,3c fine high density virgin hair. This is more for someone who doesn't use creams or leave ins and only uses gel. Scent smells very nice and clean with a bit of citrus.

this made my hair way curlier and gave me a lot of volume, but it did dry my hair as well. my hair is still soft but not nearly as soft as it when i don't use this product. does what it claims to as far as curls go but i will keep looking for something more moisturizing
