love this for my wavy hair!

i've been on a bit of a journey since i learned that wavy is in fact a curl type and hair cure curated for wavy hair actually is a thing. i got this mask a couple of weeks ago and i've added it to my wash routine and there's a lot to love about it! my waves have been so freaking bouncy since i start...

I wanted to like it…

Pros: smells amazing, easy to apply, did improve curl patterns in my natural waves Cons: left my hair greasy/waxy, destroyed natural shine, too heavy for normal (not fine, not thick) hair, had to wash again the next day I have wavy hair that sometimes curls on its own, but it needs a lot of help. I bought the Verb curly line (shampoo, conditioner, mask, foam). I really enjoy all the other products, but this one was a miss for me. It left my hair feeling very dry and when applying to my hair in the shower, it immediately felt knotted and tangled. I was hoping for more slip. I ended up washing it out and using the conditioner from this line.

I had high hopes for the Verb Curl Conditioning Mask, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. No matter how much product I used, it left my hair feeling extremely dry, the exact opposite of what you'd expect from a conditioning mask. Even worse, I noticed it led to increased hair loss, which was really alarming. The texture is also a letdown. It's very thin and watery, so it barely feels like you're applying anything at all. There's no richness or slip that you'd typically want from a deep conditioner, especially for curls. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this mask. If you're looking for real hydration and care for your curls, you're better off going with a different product.

Just a conditioner…

This is runny, closer to a conditioner, and honestly a mediocre one at that. My hair always felt dry after using it, no matter how much I used. Def will not be repurchasing and makes me hesitant to try anything else from this brand.

Some Verb products I adore, this was not one of them. I have very thick curly hair and like a thick mask for deep conditioning. Not only was this super thin which made the packaging a nightmare, I also didn't feel like it really moisturized my hair. If you want a true mask, purchase something else.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair

It is more of a conditioner than an hair mask when it comes to the texture of it. Very runny, which makes it hard to scoop it out of the jar when in the shower. Product like this should be in the tube, it would make much more sense. All the other masks are in the tubes, I cannot understand why they had to put this one in that flimsy jar. Such a bad decision, whoever was in charge of that. I do like this company and its products, but might return this one just because of how frustrating the application process is cause it quite literally runs out of hand while scooping it out.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
