MILK MAKEUP Cooling Water Jelly Shimmer Stick for Face and Eyes

Complimentary from Milk Makeup I tried the Jelly Shimmer Stick in Boba, and it immediately hit that sweet spot for me. The texture is this cool, jelly‑smooth glide that feels refreshing the second it touches your skin — soft, bouncy, and completely non‑gritty. The shimmer has that violet‑blue flip that catches the light in such a pretty way, almost like it moves with you. On me, it's more about the glow than the color, but the effect is gorgeous. It blends out effortlessly and gives that wet‑look sheen without feeling sticky or heavy. It's the kind of product I can swipe on without thinking — cheekbones, lids, or even collarbones when I want a little extra sparkle. Boba just has this easy, dimensional shimmer that feels fun and wearable at the same time.

This product was gifted by Milk Makeup. The shade Boba is very pretty and a great lilac/purple. The stick is very chunky so it's not that great for precision application. I have to use my fingers to apply it but that's not a deal breaker. The biggest issue I have is how much chunky glitter there is and how little pigment the non-glitter portion of the formula has. I imagined being able to use this as a highlight for the inner eye, brow bone and possibly upper cheekbones but it's so sheer that all you really see is the big glitter chunks which, for my taste/ lifestyle, just isn't something I would wear on a daily basis. It comes off much more like a festival makeup product rather than a daily fun highlight. If the formula had been more of a microshimmer it wouldn't been much better for my purposes.

I tried the Milk Makeup Jelly Shimmer, and it's a nice everyday glow product. The jelly texture feels cool and lightweight, and it's easy to apply with fingers. The shimmer is subtle and gives a fresh, glossy sheen rather than an intense highlight, which makes it great for natural makeup looks.

Whats the point of launching a glittery highlighter balm if its just gonna turn into craft glitter the second it's on the face? They look stunning in the stick but give practically nothing on the face. Such a let down and an absolute waste of money.

gifted by milkmakeup. This cooling water jelly is the most adorable thing! I love the packaging so much it's so cute. It's also really easy to use. I will say this is a really subtle product, even when you pile it on. With that said I think it's such a beautiful finish, the shimmer really shimmers beautifully when the light hits it. I will say this is a more "natural" glitter situation, because of the subtlety of it. When I put it on my eyes you can barely see it, but it is gorgeous when it catches the light. It's cute for every day use, and I enjoy the feeling of it on my skin because of how cooling it is. I feel like it would be perfect for summertime.
