Wear gloves. Apply generously to pre-shampooed, towel-dried hair. Leave up to 10 minutes depending on desired intensity. Rinse. Style. Go.

Do not color your hair if you have ever experienced reactions after using hair colors or temporary "black henna" tattoos in the past or if you have a facial rash or sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp. Avoid eye contact. In case of eye contact: rinse immediately. Allergy alert test: apply a small amount of product to clean, dry, inner side of elbow and wait 48 hours. If there is any burning, redness, swelling or itchiness, do not use this product.

I have highlighted hair that has become too blonde and too heavy. I don't want to highlight it anymore. I don't want to damage my hair by using a demi or permanent color as my hair is fine and I don't want to put any type of ammonia or peroxide on the ends. If I glaze it weekly, will I be able to tone it down so I can grow out my hair? What color would I use for to go to a dark blonde or a little red is fine too but I don't want to be "clown red" either. My hair currently is pretty light but not a platinum blonde light.

I've used this twice now and the Chocolate Touch turns my hair from light/medium brown to red brown. I even left it in for half an hour the second time, trying to get the brown color and it still came out red. Did my batch get mislabeled somehow? My blond highlights and gray hair are red while the rest of my hair is red brown. Is there another color mask I could use to tone down the red?

It's Okay
I bought this for my dark brown hair. It's ok. I wouldn't say its the best hair depositing product out there but it did tint it.
Redoing my review
I initially used this with blonde hair like a dummy so yes it turned my hair green. I recently made my hair dark brown and bc fhey filled it wirh a red base it keeps pulling warm which is SO unflattering on me. This green based brunette mask is PERFECT and the only thinf that cools down the warmth in my brown hair.
Love this color mask
I started using this a few months ago to try to extend my hair color between appointments. This works great on grays around your crown. Lasts for a week or a little longer depending on how often you shampoo your hair. I recently dyed my hair myself and it came out too dark so I did the mask today and it gave me back the golden brown tone I was looking for. Let me add this important note... use the gloves you would use to color your own hair at home. This will definitely die your skin. Be careful as you apply it around your face and wipe off anything that gets on your skin immediately. I go in the shower shampoo my hair get out towel dry my hair apply the hair mask with my gloves, and then I sit and wait for 10 minutes and then get back in the shower rinse it and then style. It gives me a little bit of color pop that I am really liking and I will definitely be buying this product again in the future.

Didn't notice a difference
my hair dresser recommended this to me in between appointments but i didn't notice any difference. i also don't like that it kind of smells like chocolate lol. it stains your hands and nails terribly and its awkward to use. i wash my hair in the shower with shampoo, then turn on the bath and comb the mask through my hair and let it sit. once its done i turn the shower back on. its just a lot. but i'm eager to try a different brand that shows better color results.
