Soft & Warm Oriental Fougere

Blind w/no knowledge of composition: Opens bright with a refreshing mixed citrus blast (lemon-lime?) that is all too fleeting soft white musks, and an inoffensive powdery violet heart notes ambery tonka base maybe slightly aldehydic I know florals have been making a comeback in mens fragrance an...d I love them myself especially violets, the rest of the composition leans more feminine imo as I associate a lot of those accords with contemporary perfumes marketed to women, it does however have a 'blue' character that i associate with bleu de chanel, i think the white musky amber aspect, something clashing in the dry down maybe the aldehydes or w/e don't belong imo After reviewing notes: Seems like I got most but mistook the floral, it still smells like violet to me although I can detect hints of green and lavender in the fougere I didn't notice before (what I thought might be aldehydes, I'm guessing the aromatic/fresh spicy accord) also didn't really get the leather note but something slightly leather-like early in the dry down (fits well in the composition), suede seems more apt but very clean/no barnyard-iness. In some ways I find this might be nice for a night out but it does project pretty strongly (a full spray was too much for me, I think used sparingly this would be nice to get hints of though, perhaps for a night out or somewhere with open space (probably not a great choice for the office imo), I personally wouldn't buy for myself but I wouldn't be disappointed if I received it as a gift or someone else was wearing around me, I don't know if I'd recommend it just because I am very picky with fragrance and I do have others in the same family that I really love but I do really like that 'what I associate with violets' note, it's not easy to find so i might recommend it for that, im also a big fan of warm ambery accords, tonka, labdanum, i love all those things so maybe worth checking out if you're also into those.
