Q
Is this supposed to be packaged in a plastic jar? It usually comes in glass.

Official Answer By Truly Beauty - Brand Engage
Hey there! Our new jars are now made from P.E.T., which offers several advantages. This material helps reduce environmental impact while also providing better protection during shipping and handling. Additionally, it's safer for shower use, as it prevents shattering if accidentally dropped. Was this answer helpful to you

his product is overall just lovely. It has a light, coconut smell (and sometimes coconut can be overpowering, but this is done nicely). It takes you right to the beach and leaves your skin soft and moisturized. I'm also not usually one to comment about how something looks (because I really don't car...

Would be better as an emulsion

Pros - the scent. I bought it for the amazing, unique scent of Coco Cloud - part vanilla, part coconut milk (not "artificial" coconut scent, but like real, fresh coconut milk), and all gorgeous. LOVE the scent Cons - the product is thick and doesn't spread or absorb well. If you look at the ingredi...

This product was overpriced and had to shower after I used it. It made me so sticky and the water repelled off of me.

Not an emulsion - only oils and starch

Something you should know before buying: this product is not an emulsion, meaning that it contains no water, and the ingredients are primarily oils or fats; this creates a very thick and greasy product that doesn't absorb well and is incredibly thick and difficult to apply. The addition of arrowroot starch does little to reduce the greasiness. The formulation really makes me sad, because the scent is AMAZING, but I could barely finish the jar I purchased. I would not purchase this again, and wouldn't recommend it, unless you have used formulations like this before and know you like them. It's a little like applying straight-up shea butter to your skin. It doesn't contain coconut oil, and so doesn't easily melt with your body heat

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I like it

I got a sample size of this product and I loved the texture. It is super thick but I kinda like it, especially for this harsh winter weather. The smell seems a little strong at first but it calms down once its rubbed on the skin. I didn't realize how pricy the product was, but I might invest.

Bad texture, bad smell

Smells super synthetic, kinda like the synthetic flooring in my high school gym's locker room when they first installed it, and I agree with other reviewers about the texture. It's unreasonably difficult to actually apply, it doesn't melt or absorb at all. And if you do manage to actually get some on your skin, it feels super greasy. Fully about to throw out a full jar. Going back to the serum ASAP.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
