Product can cause eye irritation

It's a good cleanser but the pearls/grains get in the eyes and cause extreme discomfort. Even if it's not applied directly around eyes, it still get in eyes while washing face. The pearls are very sticky and don't come off after eyes are washed multiple times (they get stuck inside the eye lid). The formula is transparent/opaque so its hard to see if any of the particles remain in face or get in the eyes. Can Kiehl's explore water soluble grains so they don't cause extreme irritation in eyes?

Love it! You need the smallest amount. Like a pea size.. add water and it's magic. Foamy, and soft but scrubs away dry skin. Leaves my skin feeling so fresh and not dry. Try it. Use it everyday. It really is amazing!

I expected the product to be grittier, but I am pleased with the results achieved without the coarseness I'm used to.
