Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer 1-3 times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2-3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
Precautions: For external use only. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using if you are using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product. This may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor. When using this product avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Please bring back Hope in a Bottle
This product is more gelatinous and wet in consistency, and feels slick on the skin most of the day (like oil). I prefer Hope in a Bottle, which is a satiny (less wet) lotion. Clear Days may fight acne and control oil, but the slippery wet feel on the skin is not what I want, so oil control is moot....

I have very oily skin and use to break out a lot. This moisturizer has helped me control my breakouts. I use it 2/3 times a day with sunscreen during the day and at night I pair it with hyloranic acid.
