Most Helpful Positive Review Great way to contour! I've never really been into contouring cause I have such fair skin, but I've been so happy with so many of Clinique's products that I had to try this. This stick seriously makes contours SO simple. It bends wonderfully, and I like to keep it really light. Like all of the other chubby sticks you can build it up or sheer it out, and it stays nicely in place. It also feels really soft (if that matters). As far as the stick itself goes, it's the same size as the Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balms.
Most Helpful Critical Review Returned! I purchase the Chubby Contour Stick along with the Chubby Highlighter. The Highlighter I LOVE but the Contour Stick was way too orange-y for my fair skin and also did not blend smooth enough for me. I liked the size of the applicator, and its easy application concept but the formula and shade just was not working for me. I returned the contour stick but kept the highlighter, which I use almost daily. I would recommend introducing multiple shades of this stick and formula that is easier to blend and doesn't streak.

I bought this just to try a new contour stick. When I opened it I wasn't sure about the color, seemed like it would be very dark for my skin tone. It wasn't- super easy to apply and blend. Looks great on my skin and wears well throughout the night. I would but this again.
Silk Smooth Contour - Say YES 5
Makeup Momma from Oklahoma
I looked at several reviews before purchasing this. I hesitated, because there were some bad reviews but I'm so glad I said YES and bought this contour. I did my full face of makeup without my makeup brushes today. This contour glided on silky smooth and blended into my foundation like a dream. At first it seems a bit on the bronze side (for a contour) but the way it blends into the makeup leaves a soft dewy glow of warmth, giving beautiful dimension to my natural looking makeup.
Too Orange 2

This product is way too warm toned, it looked orange on my fair skin. I think contours should be more cool/neutral toned and bronzers should be warmed toned. I think it would be more accurate if this was marketed as a bronzer stick. Probably because the tone was so off, but I had a terrible time blending it enough to look good. I really wanted this to work because the stick is so convenient and I love the Clinique brand, but this was a total fail for me.
Very orange 2
Vvv03 from Brooklyn
I got this to contour around my nose, I'm relatively fair, neutral undertone, blonde hair blue eyes. This is very orange. It blends okay but I end up with an orange nose. Total waste of money.
Great Natural Color 4
WiscoBeautyFan from Wisconsin USA
Love this stuff! It gives such a great natural color and is buildable to give you the perfect look. It's definitely better for lighter skin. My only knock is that it doesn't seem to last as long as I would like - it tends to blend in with my foundation after several hours and become muddy.
Depth and glow 4

I don't normally write reviews- but for this I will. I am a fair toned woman (1N1 Estée Lauder foundation tone) and I picked up this contour stick after reading the reviews. Other contour palettes or sticks for fair skin tones made me look grey or muddy which I hated. When I first received the stick, I was scared it would be too dark since it is a rich brown- but the key is in application. Once applied, this easily blends in skin to create a warmer depth that goes great with my blush. I use one swipe for where I want to contour and blend with a brush. It's easily to lose the product it's so blendable, but for a more dramatic effect, you can always use more product. I was really satisfied with the color and got tons of compliments on my makeup.
Does the job, but.. 3

My sister uses this product and I found myself using hers every chance I got. Now that I purchased one of my own and use it daily, I found I have little breakouts where I apply it. I do not breakout usually ever, so I know this has to be why.
Works wonders for 'fairish' skin! 5

Blends out well over foundation or alone. I liked to wear it with the bare minerals tinted gel moisturizer.
Game changer 5
Hailey from Lutz Florida
I always used powder bronzer but after seeing a YouTube use it, I decided to order this.. best decision ever!! It blends so easy with a brush and it lasts all day. The color of this contour stick is perfect and really makes my cheekbones look great. I would recommend to anyone
Too orange 2
Gigi from Hawaii
I have pale-medium skin and this looks super orange unless you put a little on. Dont get me wrong i still use this everyday but i feel like it doesnt last long and it can make your face very orangey looking.
Not much impact 3
Sunshine from Michigan
The bronzing stick gives a light 'brown' look instead of a brighter sun kissed look.
Fool proof contouring 5
LA337 from Lafayette, LA
Very easy to apply, SUPER easy to blend. I could not believe how quickly and easily it blended. It didn't turn orange either (common with my previous contouring exploits) with my cooler undertones. Held up all day and looked very natural
blendable but not dark enough 4
ash from na
i am super fair. even when i put on my slightly darker foundation i am still very light. this contour stick was not dark enough at all for me even when i tried to reapply several times. it blends so seemlessly it's not buildable.
Perfect for a subtle contour 5
Tstrommom from Texas
I love this - I can use it with any of my foundation colors throughout the seasons.
Too orange. Doesn't blend well. Oxidized. 1
Meg from Georgia
I'm returning this. I was nervous to buy it considering that there was only one shade but I thought, "It's Clinique. I'll give it a try." Hands down one of the worst contours I've used. Super orange. Took off my foundation trying to blend it in. Maybe I just don't know how to work with it but in's not worth it to look like a Cheeto.
Love It! Don't let the color scare you. 5

Blends in nice for a contoured look!
Easy Application and Glowy Skin 5
CelineCeline from Los Angeles, CA
The stick and smooth formula make application super easy. I apply directly to my face and blend with a beauty blender. The shade is also super flattering and makes my skin glow.
Love it! 5

It goes on so smooth and is easily build able. I love how natural it looks and it leaves such a creamy finish!
Nice 5

Amazing! 5
Ringo from SLC, UT
I was so worried about there only being one shade of this, and it seems a bit warm compared to my pale skin but it went on so smooth, blended so well, and was really easy to build up! With my translucent powder on top the color was perfect. I have sensitive skin and this has not caused problems!
Works great as a bronzer! 5
Maggie from Houston, TX
I love my Chubby Stick™ Cheek Colour Balm so decided to try this one, too. Since I don't do contour I use it as a bronzer on my upper sides of the cheeks for some sun-kissed effect. Works great and the shade is perfect for my skin tone. Definitely would buy again.
Too orange 2
Nlomeli from Whittier
This glides on and blends well. The only problem was the color. It was too orange on my olive skin tone. I wish it came in different shades.
I will buy again 5
Nana from Missouri
I use it daily. It is quick and easy to use.
BEST PURCHASE EVER 5
Bailey from Longview Washington
This will definitely up your contour game and if you're thinking about getting a contour stick, DO IT!!!! It looks natural and glowy, it blends out really well, doesn't look cakey, makes your jawline snatched 10/10 recommend.
Not universal 2
Jodie from Texas
I'm a fair skinned natural red head. I wanted to like this but, it just made me too orange. My hair brings out any sort of orange tones in anything. It applied easily but it wasn't very pigmented either. It felt like you had to apply a lot which it's a thick stick so. Doing finer contouring is harder with it too. The idea is neat but only one shade is the downfall.
