i really wish i could like this

ever since i heard about this perfume a long while ago, i was wondering when it would be back in stock. it sounded like it smelled heavenly. when i found out that it was coming back to ulta, i was rightfully excited, and waited for it to release at midnight and bought it on the dot. it just came in ...the mail today, and even before i picked up my package i could smell it. i got a little worried because the first sniff i took gave me quite the headache. i took it in and unwrapped it, and it was already leaking everywhere. no big deal, i can clean up. i wipe some of the excess off on my wrist and let it sit so it can mix with my skin oils. each sniff i take over the course of 10 minutes doesn't get better, and just sitting here getting whiffs of it makes me feel sick. i even tried spraying it onto one of my shirts i wear (before i wash it of course), and it's no better. to describe the smell, it's like a sickly sweet coconut that kind of gets into your throat and makes it ache. i don't smell any notes of praline, much to my dismay. all in all, i was really hopeful for this to smell good, but i think i might have to find someone to pass it off to. i will say though, the waiting experience was really fun. i enjoy being excited for something. at least i can rely on SDJ for cheirosa 71 though!
