Soak feet in warm, soapy water. Lightly pat dry feet.
Lift ingrown part of toenail away from the skin using the cuticle pusher / toenail lifter. Clean debris from under the nail.
Carefully slip long, straight nipper blade under ingrown toenail. Gently squeeze handles to trim toenail straight across. Smooth nail edges with a file to prevent recurrence.

These tools feel well made and great quality. The clippers are amazing and sharp. The other tool is very strong and easy to use. The texture on the cuticle push help the tool from slipping in your fingers. The grip on the clipper Very ergonomic. They are also very easy to clean and sanitize.
