PREP & HEAT:
- Remove cap and plastic disc from wax jar.
- Place jar in the center of a microwave-safe plate. Heating time varies with each microwave.
- Heat for 30 seconds on high setting.
- Carefully break the surface of the wax with a large applicator. You want to make sure to break the seal so that the wax does not overheat.
- If wax has not melted, reheat in 15-second increments until you can stir the wax so it takes on a thick/caramel-like consistency.
- DO NOT heat wax for more than a total of 1 minute, as wax may be too hot to apply.
- Remove the jar from the microwave carefully using the handle.
- Test wax temperature on the backside of your wrist before waxing.
READY TO WAX:
- Cleanse area to be epilated with GiGi Pre Hon cleanser and then pat thoroughly dry with tissue.
- Apply a small amount of GiGi Pre-Epilation Oil to area to be epilated.
- Holding the applicator at a 45 degree angle, apply a thick layer of wax in the direction of hair growth.
- Allow wax to cool on skin for 10 to 15 seconds until it becomes soft and pliable. Pro Tip: If wax is left on skin too long, it becomes brittle and hard to remove.
- Holding the skin taut, pull wax off in one quick motion in the opposite direction of hair growth, parallel to the skin.
- Immediately apply firm pressure to the epilated area with the cushions of your fingers to calm the skin.
AFTER WAX CARE:
- Apply GiGi Wax Off to remove any wax residue and to condition skin.
- Apply Post Wax Cooling Gel liberally to skin after waxing to help soothe irritation and redness.
- To maintain waxing results longer, smooth on GiGi Slow Grow, a hair minimizer, every day after showering.
Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Carefully read and follow the enclosed instructions. If wax should fall onto lashes, keep eyes closed. Apply a drop of petroleum jelly on area and remove with an eyebrow comb. Wipe with a moist tissue and then place a cotton swab at the corner of the eye to absorb residue. Test a small area on the backside of your wrist for temperature sensitivity. Do not use on irritated, cut or broken skin. Do not use inside nose, ears, on nipples, eyelashes, warts, and moles or near internal genital area. Do not use if you have varicose veins, diabetes, phlebitis, chapped, sore or sunburned skin, recent scar tissue, eczema or any skin disorder. Do not use if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, Glycolic Acid, and Alpha Hydroxy treatments. Do not use soaps or astringents for 2 hours after application. Avoid the sun, tanning and hot water for 8 hours before and after any hair removal treatment.

Why are people complaining? I have thick hair + this works!
I have extremely thick hair plus sensitive skin. I've used many at home wax products and this is my favorite! I don't understand all the people complaining about this product because it is actually very good quality, BUT you need to tailor your method according to the wax you are using-- it's not ro...

It was ok
First off the directions were on a tiny piece of paper written in micro font, that also included directions for like three of their other products. Considering the area I'm about to apply this too I would like clear directions I can read on a piece of paper bigger than my thumb. Second I would not ...

I love it! Honestly!
I bought this as an alternative to going to the salon for my Brazilian waxes since they have been getting a little pricey. Its really easy to use once you get the hang of applying and ripping the wax since it can be a little messy. It literally pulls every hair in one strip. I will say though DO NOT let it sit on your skin too long or the wax will harden too much and it will be extremely painful and difficult to remove especially in delicate areas. Otherwise, i love this as an alternative for my Brazilian waxes!
Cools quickly; requires frequent reheating
I have received 2 professional bikini waxes, done a barelt successful sugaring bikini wax, and wanted to try hard wax. My partner did the waxing. It was very difficult to get the right consistency. If you plan tk wax right next to a microwave, maybe it wont be as much of an issue. There were also times it became so brittle, so fast. I think an expert could probably figure it out, but this is just not what a beginner would want to use. Definitely is safer to get a higher quality hard wax with a warmer, or use sugaring wax that can be easilg warmed and wiped away if it doesnt work well.
the absolute best!!!!!
I am new to waxing down there. got a full brazilian done professionally and had a horrible experience. extreme pain and a pretty poor job. I've had this for months but have been scared to use it. I wish I had used it so much sooner!!!! absolutely no pain! I have VERY sensitive skin so I was nervous, but there is only veeeery slight redness. it did an AMAZING job getting as much hair as possible. I had to pluck some, but it is what it is. As I have sensitive skin, I made sure to prep before and care for myself after waxing. no ingrown or irritations unlike when I paid 4x as much to get professionally waxed. I am absolutely buying more right now. the price is absolutely worth it, especially as it's discounted at my time of review! just a fair warning, the directions state the wax turns brittle if left on too long, and that's true. and when it turns brittle and breaks as you pull, you will be left with unwaxed hairs where the wax broke off. you don't want to pull off the wax where you can leave a visible indent in the wax if you poke it, but you also don't want to leave it on for too long. there's an easy in-between that lasts quite a while. I used this wax at a cooler temperature because of my sensitive skin, so it was already easier for it to get to the brittle stage quicker. unless you leave the wax on for like four minutes when the wax is already cool, it shouldn't get brittle.
Great no strips but hard to remove

Wax works great to get the hair off... BUT if heating in the microwave... the wax cools quickly. Then you have to reheat to keep going. Nice that you don't need strips.. BUT hard to remove off your skin if you don't pull it off.
Body Wax Review
I dont know why the reviews are so bad? This body wax works perfectly fine for how reasonably priced it is. It does melt properly in the microwave, you just have to go longer than recommended. I did about 1 min and 30 secs (not all at once) and it melted fine and worked well. It dries relatively quickly like other hard wax, and removes the hair easily with minimal pain. If you know what you're doing and you know how to apply the wax, you won't make a mess or have any issues.
