I was skeptical for the right reasons

I have been really trying for a while to go bottle free with my cleaning products. I seen kitsch popping up all over social media and because their ads are very driven to be an aesthetically pleasing product for a simple but effective lifestyle, i thought id check them out. I found their reviews and... seen thousands of 5 stars which i thought was a bit gimicky and fake but i thought not all of them can be fake so i gave it a try. I ordered the sample set which took forever to come although i read you can get next day delivery. I washed my hair as soon as it arrived and honestly i struggled. It doesnt lather like it does as advertised, i spent a lot of time scrubbing my head to try and create a lather which just wasnt happening. The conditioner was even worse. I have very dry colour treated ends and the conditioner wasnt nearly enough to saturate my hair as much as id like. I also made sure my hair was wet and not squeezed out in order to lather more but i think all the product just dripped out. Considering my main hair concern is split ends, having to excessively rub these tiny cubes through my hair in its wet, most fragile state. Stupidly, i decided to continue using it in hopes it would get better because i wanted to have faith in the product. By the time i had reached the end of them all, i had learned this: it does not affect dyes in anyway which is about my only positive; my hair didnt need washing as frequently because it dried my scalp out so badly i dont think it was capable of producing oils; my hair became dull with no shine or healthy feeling; my hair felt heavy and weighted; the texture of my hair changed and became extremely coarse and frizzly (i have naturally fine, long straight hair); my hair on my scalp was so dried out it would dry before id even finished conditioning my ends; it leaves absolutely no smell at all which isnt necessarily a really bad thing but i get that fresh clean feeling when i smell nice; it made my hair so knotty from scrubbing too much and being so dry; and it made my split problem a million times worse and frankly ruined my ends. I have since bought a bottled drugstore owned product and it is much better and i can get adequate amounts of product and my hair already feels soft, is unbelievably shiny and smooth. I am disappointed that this didnt work. I love the concept and i am happy for everyone it worked for but for me, its a big no no.
