Is this similar to the Orly Ridge Filler? My nails seem stronger when I use your ridge filler, but I no longer can find it.

- Official Answer By OrlyRidge Filler and Bonder are both basecoats. Unfortunately Ridge Filler has been discontinued and is no longer available. Bonder is one of our most popular products. I came across Orly's Bonder when I wanted an alternative to gel manicures at the salon. I had gotten 4 gel manicures over a couple of months and my nails were in terrible shape as a result. My nail color doesn't last any longer with this stuff than with a cheaper basecoat. In fact, once it starts chipping, it actually peels off.

Have clean nails and hands. Put on the rubberized basecoat. Let it dry. Put polish on top. DONE! Coincidentally I have a bottle of Orly polish that is a one-coat variety. Everything is still nice, four days later. In these days of constant mask wearing, lipstick, foundation, blush are pretty unnecessary. Let's flirt with our hands!

If you do your nails with regular polish at home- you NEED this! I've had polish on my nails for a week and I've only had to redo one nail which is incredible for me. I use this and the "polished" topcoat and this is the best my nails have lasted.

Exactly as I hoped!
Bought this hoping it would keep my nails from chipping and not only did it exceed my expectations, but it also helped protect my nails from damage! The base coat I normally use leaves my nails looking weak and peeled. The Bonder however left them looking exactly as they were before they were painted! Love this!
Didn't notice any difference
I will preface this by saying I use the Sally Hansen quick dry formula so I don't know if that causes any issues, but I didn't notice any change or greater length of staying power. I followed the directions exactly and used it as a topcoat and base-coat as the directions recommend. I will not be buying this product again.
