Not the same product as before
I purchased this product before it was redesigned. Use to smell amazing and Now it smells like a funky hairspray. And it's sticky versus having a carefree wave. Maybe I should have tried beach shake instead.

Old formula was better
Before they changed the shape of the bottle to the cylinder (it used to be more of an hourlgass shape) it smelled better and honestly just performed better. I still repurchase this time and time again because it's the best texture spray I have found. I like to have loose curls/waves and this gives my hair the texture it needs. It's a good product but sadly isn't as good as it used to be. It makes my hair feel slightly heavier and stickier than it did before. With this newer formula you can definitely apply too much and overdo it, but previously it was very use friendly. Like I said, I'll continue to buy it but I miss the old version.

I don't understand why this product doesn't have a thousand reviews saying how awesome it is... It is seriously one of the best products I've ever used and I use it regularly when I style my hair down with some waves/curls. It isn't sticky like a hairspray at all, instead it almost has a grit-like finish leaving my hair with some texture which is great considering my hair is usually so soft and smooth that curls fall right out. This product is 100% a keeper!
