Most Helpful Positive Review definitely the best self tanner This is by far the best self tanner on the market...and i really feel like i've tried them all. You need to make sure that you use a tanning mitt to blend. Just like with any self tanner, it's always gonna blend better if you use one of those guys. If no, you run the risk of getting a streaky or spotty blend. Because there is no guide color, you have to go slow and be detail oriented if you want it to be even but it's WORTH the extra time. This guy looks more like a real tan than any other product I've tried. I got the light/medium because i'm not trying to look like TAN MOM (google it)..just trying to not look deceased. There IS a smell. I've seen some reviews saying that there was "no smell" and even some saying that it had an "awesome scent." Neither of these things are true. It DOES have that not-so-pleasant traditional self tanner smell...but way way WAY less intense than most brands. You only begin to smell it once the product has been on for a little bit and starts to develop. And again, it's faint, so it's tolerable. All in all it's the best out there. Pricey, but lasts a long time..and you can customize the intensity of your tan by choosing more or less drops in your body lotion. It dries super super fast, you can dress right away and not worry about it staining your clothing or sheets. Worth the $$ for sure
Most Helpful Critical Review ALMOST NO COLOR The bottle states to use 2-6 drops per body part. After starting with 4 drops per leg with little results, I then went to 8 drops per leg and hardly got any color at all. It's barely noticeable and I am very fair skinned. So in my opinion this is basically useless. I am not even looking for a dark tan.. I just want a nice subtle sun kissed color but it can't even achieve that. I would definitely say if you want to try this stuff, regardless of your skin color or results desired, buy the dark one and use less drops. The light/medium one is not worth it. As far as application goes, it is a few extra steps as well because you have to throughly mix it with your Lotion. After trying the drops, I don't think it's worth the price tag to have to go through the extra steps. It's not exactly user friendly in my opinion. The one plus side for me, was that it was not sticky or tacky like other tanners I have tried. Overall, if I had got the darker color, I might have kept it but not repurchased. I am returning the light drops and will try a different brand.

I was excited to try this brand, but unfortunately it fell short. I've tried over 15 different kinds of self tanner (always ingredient conscious/clean ingredients) since I'm fair skinned, and when I do "tan" it's mostly red-based instead of bronzed even with spf. There's so much hype on this one, I had to try. However, it was so orange on my skin. No bronze undertones, almost yellow. I followed the instructions to a T, even went the lowest amount of drops per body part. If you have somewhat of a base already, or olive toned skin, I believe this would be a perfect match, but with fair skin, I would avoid. I gave it 2 stars because the fade was even and not splotchy. Stay bronzed out there my friends!

I had to return this. I don't usually break out but this product was terrible for my skin.
Always come running back. 5

I will continue to use this product for the fact that it isn't sticky. I can put it on then sleep comfortably, i can put it on then go about my day.. doesn't matter. It's incredible. Oh it's own it's super dark and i love it, mixed with lotion it's subtle but still great. This tan lasts at least two weeks and fades evenly.
Highly recommend for the ghostly skin tones like me. The best of the best.
Just for reference, if i can stand the sticky mess my go to is loving tan, Bali body and Luna bronze. This more orange than those but fades so a much more natural tone and lasts twice as long. I always pick the darkest option for my self tanners and my skin tone is whatever foundation comes in a 00.
Love this product 5

I went with the medium/dark and love the results! This gave my skin a fresh sun kissed look after adding with my moisturizer. No orange or patches, just a beautiful glow.
Best I've used 5

Self tanning always made me look orange no matter what brand I use. I've tried just about all the tanning drops on the market. This is the only one that gives me a natural looking tan, lasts a long time, and fades naturally without looking like a weird, patchy mess. It doesn't have that strong tanner smell or feel sticky either so I can use it before bed without my bedding sticking to my skin throughout the night. The price can be steep, but it's definitely worth a try if you've struggled with self tanning like me. A little goes a long way and I've barely made a dent in the bottle after multiple uses.
Just meh... won't buy again 3

The smell of these drops is much more manageable and light than with other self tanners. There are literally no self tanners that don't have the smell from DHA - just part of the deal. I use a disgusting amount of self tanner on a regular basis so I purchased drops so they'd be more economical (plus, using with a good smelling lotion will help with the smell!). But I have to use so many drops to get the color I want! So the bottle is getting depleted really quickly. I'm religous about self tanners - exfoliating/shaving prior, moisturizing, not using drying soaps. This stuff just sloughs off my skin. Maybe your skin can only absorb so much? The color is a bit orangey but doesn't seem weird with my skin tone. I can see how those with fairer complexions would have issues. I've never had a streaky application because I mix my lotion and drops in a container and then apply it (per body part) with gloves. It does end up being time consuming. Overall, I don't think I'll purchase this again. Didn't hate it... didn't love it either.
I would buy this again 5

Easy to apply, last a few days, it dries quickly. I like that I can mix it with my own lotion so it never feels to thick or heavy.
Works great 5

This is my favorite tanner. I have fair skin and this builds a tan in a few hours & it is not orange. The tan looks natural. However, unlike the other reviews it does have a strong smell for the first day. Also be sure to wash your hands thoroughly or you will visibly notice this tanner.

I was hesitant at first because it took me a few uses to get a hang of it, and I tried a few different ways. I too was one of the people who at first experienced "almost no color" until I tried a new method. To get the best color, try this:
Go body part by body part. My method - apply thin layer of body lotion (the amount you would use normally). While it is still wet, apply 6 drops of the tanner to a mitt (important) and blend thoroughly. I break my legs up into two parts - 6 drops from the knee down, 6 drops for my thighs. This way you're not left with too much lotion which I suspect was part of the reason I didn't get too much color the first time - over dilution coupled with it just rubbing off over time. I use this method for each body part - lotion first, then drops. It works wonderfully. I wake up a bronzed goddess every time.
The drops also make your skin feel super smooth for the next few days. I will definitely repurchase.

This is a game changer. I have used self- tanners before and they streak or smell bad, and get all over your clothes. This stuff here smalls amazing, doesn't stain and looks amazing....
Great product 5

Used the medium/dark with my daily lotion and noticed an immediate difference on my face! No rash or irritation. Wash your ends well right after application and there should be no issue!
Great natural color 5

Mixed with my moisturizer for my face and with my regular body lotion for my legs. Worked great!
Convenient and easy way to a healthy looking tan 5
Lynnie from Cleveland
I'm really glad I purchased this product. I like how you customize it to your color needs and it's easy to build it for a long lasting tan. Since you use your favorite moisturizer, the smell isn't that fake coconut tanning lotion scent you usually get with a self tanner. Also for the "deepest" glow you only use 6 drops compared with other similar products where it directs you to use up to 12 drops-so the product itself will last you longer. It is more expensive than similar products but the quality is better. I do wish they had better instructions because you should exfoliate and prep your skin before applying (also add extra moisturizer to dryer areas like elbows, knees, and achilles before applying the tinted lotion) to get the best, even tan.
I can't say enough good things about this 5

I have really dry skin and the other self-tanning products left my skin dry. This product mixed with my body lotion (Olay Quench Age Defying Body Lotion) leaves my skin with a moisturized tan. It's well worth the money. I would suggest watching a video on it. It doesn't rub off on my bed sheets. It does take about four to eight hours for the color to show. It doesn't blotch or streak after showering and actually it still left my skin with a nice tan.

Gives okay tan but i was super allergic to these. My legs started to itch so bad hours after and have patches of red bumps all over my leg. So upset I paid so much for these
Overpriced & Orange 1
Jennifer from PA
I have tried so many self tanners. I had high hopes for this one based on the hefty price tag and the ease of mixing with your own lotion/moisturizer. The color is off. It's too much of a orange base. I'm upset I paid over $50 for this.

I have never used a set tanner and it has taken me awhile to figure it out. I do love that I mix it in with my favorite body lotion.
Not a good product. Returning it after one use 1

Honestly, I don't know where these good reviews come from. I had high hopes for this product but it failed miserably. First of all the fact that it is clear is half of the problem, because you cannot see where it is rubbing on and if you will end up with streaks, it did decently on my face except for the incredibly bad settling into my pores. Now it looks like I have tiny orange freckles all over my face! No thank you. It's the worst of all the Tanners I've used on my face in that aspect. Second, I put some on my the back of my hands,It has an orangey tent, and again went on incredibly streaky and fake. Returning immediately
I've used once, not impressed! 2

I will try a second time and up my drops. First use, noticed the smell still and very little difference in color. Not impressed at all, especially considering price. I plan on returning this if the second use doesn't yield better results.
So easy to use 4
Jess from CT
I've tried many self tanning products over the years but this one is by far the easiest to apply. Just a few drops in your regular moisturizer and you're done! Don't forget to wash your hands though (oops)! The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is I would prefer if it were a little more brown in color. It's slightly orangey.
Will use this as long as I want a tan 5

Tried this product for the 1st time and love it. It gives you a great tan and their is no smell. My new go or it's!
Love this Product 5

I love that this works with my daily lotion so I can add some color and moisturize at the same time. It does not leave any streaking and the color is nice. I will continue to use this.
Clogs pores 2
Face tanner from Colorado
Tried it out a couple nights to build the tan up. Clogged my pores a lot even little ones. Would give off an orange tint (I have olive skin complexion) and easy build up in hair line area. I did it with both serum and moisturizer to see how each worked with it (no difference). Biggest thing for me was how it clogs the pores and I have small pores and the orange tint
