So elegant and will hold thick hair

I have thick wavy hair. I started swimming a few months ago and now I have SHORT thick wavy hair. I had to cut my hair after the chlorine started causing my hair to break at my ponytail. That sucked. I loved my long hair and it was so easy to style. Just wash and let air dry and pull into ponytail.N...ow that I have shorter hair, I need to find ways to keep my hair out of my eyes when I'm working. I tend to get annoyed if I have any hair in my face when I'm concentrating.I knew that hair clips and such would work, but I wasn't thrilled with the options out there. I'm 56 years old and work in a profession where you're expected to convey a modicum of dignity. "Cute" hair clips of cats or unicorns won't fly.I saw these and decided to get them because they were exactly what I was looking for in the stores but couldn't find!I got them and tested them against my thick bangs. They held securely. No slipping off.I am only using them to hold back bangs, but don't want to have one flopping off my head in the middle of a court hearing or when I'm conducting a training to a room full of cops, lol.They have good spring to them, and want to close tight when you pry them open. Again - perfect for my needs.The rhinestones are set individually, meaning they are not loose stones pushed into a bead of glue on the clip. They are secured with prongs, each one, in its own setting. I don't think these will break loose any time soon, under normal wear and tear.The rhinestones are clear but set against a dark grey metal, which is so much nicer than black or white metal: it creates a really pretty lighting effect and sparkle. And they do sparkle, even in lower light.I have snow-white hair, so they really stand out nicely. They're stylish without being gawdy or cheap. They are elegant and can easily take you from a professional setting to a night on the town and will accessorize with a business suit as easily as a soft cashmere sweater and jeans.I love them and am thrilled I got them.
