I use radiance color in pressed powder and it is a little light. What should I go with in the beyond Matte? I have extremely oily and acne prone skin so should I stay with the powder base? I am 77 years old, white-grey (mostly white on front) brown eyes.

Not a matte foundation

I purchased this at a local boutique that sells JI makeup and unfortunately, I can't return it (their policy). This foundation is definitely not right for oily skin. I use the smallest amount and it feels tacky to the touch, even after a dusting of finishing powder it still doesn't feel set. The result is a dewy finish that feels heavy on the skin. The color matching property is spot on, but that's the only compliment. I'll use it occasionally because it feels wasteful to throw away, but given the price point I'm extremely disappointed. I have to blot my face regularly throughout the day with this foundation.

I love so many Jane Iredale products, but this Foundation just didn't work for me at all. It left my skin dry and dull, felt too heavy and yet still didn't totally cover my age spots/redness. The color also was too dark but then I am sure the lighter M1 would be too light so it is just as well. I am definitely going to be sticking with the tinted moisturizer and the Amazing base powder. I love the Jane Iredale return policy, so I was able to return this!

I have been using the Beyond Matte Liquid Foundation for just a few days and I love it! I have been using Pure Pressed Powder in Golden Glow for more than a decade and so happy I got an ex act match with M7. They really nailed it! Also Customer service is really great!
