The shades are subtle yet give such a fresh, dewy finish which is perfect for light makeup days. The balm melts into my skin effortlessly and I like that I can wear the shades separately or blend them together for a custom color. I used my fingers to apply both shades and it worked well for me. Beam Trap is best for those who love a minimal, glowing complexion with a skin care feel. Not the most travel-proof product, but the finish is beautiful. What I don't like it the packaging that feels as if it could easily breakdown.
Brown girl friendly
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is one of the best natural highlighters I've ever had. I'm very impressed with how well it melted into my skin. Not the biggest fan on the packaging but it's very easy to travel with and the lime green coloring helps me find it amongst other products.
Truly in Love
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Words can't even describe how in love I am with this balm! The formula is so creamy while also giving the perfect amount of shimmer. It doesn't leave my skin, feeling sticky. It blends in nicely while also leaving my skin with the perfect pop of shimmer. Not to mention, I love the sustainable packaging. It comes in.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Not my favorite. Packaging is recycled which is nice but it's easily torn and squashed in my makeup bag. The color and shimmer is nice and the texture is very creamy. I felt like I needed to set it after use or it would move and move makeup underneath.
Nice for a natural look
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Beam Star Balm has a really pretty glow and I like how smooth and creamy it feels going on. It blends easily and doesn't look glittery, which I appreciate. The downside is that the shine is pretty subtle and it tends to fade after a couple of hours, so it doesn't last as long as I hoped. It's nice for a natural highlight, but not my go-to if I want something that really pops.
