Q
Can I use use the beachwaver in Switzerland with a plug adapter?
Asked by Pema
Official Answer By The Beachwaver Co - Brand Engage
The Beachwaver Pro 1 is made to only work with USA outlets and voltage. Please do not use with a converter or adapter. We recommend our new Dual Voltage Beachwaver S Series (.75, 1 and 1.25"). They are 100-240V and can be used in Switzerland with a plug adapter! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Which is the best Beachwaver for short hair?
Asked by Jenn
Official Answer By The Beachwaver Co - Brand Engage
The Beachwaver S.75 works great on chin length to long hair and will create defined waves. The 1" barrel size (either Beachwaver Pro 1 or Beachwaver S1) will create classic waves on short to long hair. We'd recommend either the Beachwaver S.75 or Beachwaver S1 depending on what look you would like to achieve. Please reference the chart at the link below for additional information. https://images.ulta.com/is/image/Ulta/beachwaver-barrel-size-stylesWas this answer helpful to you

Asked by Tiffanie
Official Answer By The Beachwaver Co - Brand Engage
Hi! The Beachwaver Pro 1" would be perfect for you if you are looking for classic, defined waves. The Beachwaver Pro 1" works wonders on long, fine hair and the extended 6.5" barrel would make curling your long hair much faster and easier! For your reference, below is a link to a chart which compares the waves each barrel size creates. https://images.ulta.com/is/image/Ulta/beachwaver-barrel-size-stylesWas this answer helpful to you
Q
Hi! I have very fine/thinner hair. My hair roughly is slightly past shoulder length. I have read the pro might be too hot for my hair since it isn't extremely thick. Do you have a suggestion on which might be best for my hair? I definitely need the L/R rotation option! Thank you so much!
Asked by Lauren
Official Answer By The Beachwaver Co - Brand Engage
Hi! The Pro 1 has a heat range of 310°F-450°F so you can always start at a lower temperature until you find the temperature that's perfect for your hair type! If you feel like 310°F is still too hot for your hair type, we also have our Beachwaver S1 available with a heat range of 290°F-410°F. Instead of L/R rotation buttons, the S1 has arrow buttons to control the rotation. To see a comparison chart, please visit https://images.ulta.com/is/image/Ulta/beachwaver-pro-series-vs-s-series. I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions! Was this answer helpful to you

I bought this tool Christmas 2017. Love it! It works great on my daughter's long, thick hair. The clasp that holds the end of your hair broke off. How do I get it fixed? This was way too expensive to last only a year and half.

Will this produce curls like a curling iron does or like a curling wand does??? I know each produces a different look.
Asked by Kristin

The Beachwaver is an automatic rotating curling iron. It rotates with the touch of a button, you control it! The Pro will give you those amazing beachy waves everyone loves. Once your hair has been styled, let it cool completely and then you can simply run your fingers through it or brush it out for those beachy waves. We hope you love it!Was this answer helpful to you

Pro vs S1

Alright y'all here it is. So, I bought both the Pro and the S1 Beach Waver. All I could find online was comparison charts for the specs, not an actual usage comparison- so I bought both and decided to do it myself. Worked good, then died less than 2 years

Submitted 8 months ago

By Amy

From San Antonio, TX

Hair Type Straight Hair

I have very fine & slightly wavy hair. The iron worked good and curls would last a full day. However, the iron shuts down and no longer rotates after owning it for a year & a half. Warranty is only 1 year, no other options. Expensive iron to have it die less than 2 years.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
