Amazing look/feel, great for SENSITIVE I am a 33 year old woman with extremely sensitive skin. My face has a few crinkles around the eyes, olive-green undertones, a pink scar from a biopsy, and patches of seborrhea and rosacea (both currently controlled so that you wouldn't know I have them unless I let my care routine slip). I never dreamed that something that is essentially a BB cream could give me enough coverage. I was really looking for a primer to wear under the Naked Urban Decay foundation that I purchased. My goal has always been to just even out my complexion without looking like I'm wearing makeup. The Naked foundation just looked sheer, and appeared to be sitting on top of my skin instead of blending in, despite various brushes and application techniques. So, when I bought the Tarte BB cream, I used it as a primer- Oh, what perfect skin it gave me! It feels like silk going on. I use my fingers because I love the sensation of smoothing this over my skin. I had discovered that I don't even need the foundation on top of this- I now wear this as my only face perfecting product, with just a bit of blush and highlight. It lasts all day for me, from 8 am to 7 pm. By 5-6 o'clock I've got a bit of dew, but the product stays in place. It does not crease or move on my oily skin. The MOST AMAZING part of this product is that it does not irritate my sensitive, seborrhea-prone skin with tiny areas of rosacea. I have worn it every day for 2 weeks without a single tingle/prickle/flake/etc. I even started letting it truly be my moisturizer, instead of layering it over La Roche Posay Rosaliac. So, my morning face = wash with Noble Zinc soap, apply a serum, and apply the Tarte BB Cream. Done. I am allergic to most sunscreens- the only normal sunscreen that I can wear on my face without issues is the Neutrogena Baby Pure face sunblock. Thankfully, this cream contains the same sunblock ingredients! My only wish is that I had gone with a shade darker. I have the shade "light", which looks dark when it comes out the tube. It does blend to a very light color. I can pull it off in the winter, but will have to buy the Medium for sure when summer comes. I also don't know how it will do during exercise/sweat- I usually run during my lunch breaks, but am injured right now. I would like for this to stay in place to provide sun protection during my midday runs- will have to test this out in a month when I'm allowed to work out again! P.S. I am buying this for my mother, I love it so much!
Not impressed...seems just like a primer I was so excited to try this product out as I love Tarte products. It is touted as "a primer, moisturizer, light foundation, anti-aging treatment and sunscreen." I thought that it sounded perfect for my needs! Sadly, that wasn't the case.
I wore this product for a few hours before returning it. I have combination/fairly decent skin. My problem areas are redness, oily t-zone and I don't like seeing the pores on my nose.
I applied this product to a clean face and then used Tarte's smooth operator finishing powder to set it. I have used A LOT of BB creams. This does not seem like a BB cream to me - it seems like a primer as the consistency is silicone. At first it felt heavy on my face (I do not like to feel my makeup), this effect slightly went away. If you are looking for creamy, try something else. I have a few dry patches and this BB cream made those areas stand out.
Aside from helping to minimize the pores on my nose, I felt it didn't provide nearly as much coverage as the Tarte smooth operator BB cream/tinted moisurizer. The coverage was very fair/poor. For the price and amount of product you get I was expecting much better. I didn't like that with this product you can really feel the silicone in the consistency of the product.
As for the 12 hour claim, I don't think that is accurate. I wore it for a few hours and it was fading from my semi-oily t-zone (mainly noticeable on my nose). For all this product is supposed to do I think it's really only good as a primer.
I went with a different BB cream and am now happy!
Drying moisturizer 2

This product is not worth the price. For being a moisturizer it dried my skin and made my face look almost flaky.
Good, light coverage and feels like nothing on face 5

The title here says it's a "Tinted Moisturizer" but the actual product calls itself a 'primer', which it is. I love how it glides on my face and has nice, light coverage. It has the 'cones in it like you'd expect a primer to have. I like that it has physical sunscreen instead of chemicals. If you want to wear something to even out your skin tone but not feel as though you're wearing 'foundation', this is a good product. I only wore it a few hours the first day before writing this review but it wore just fine and didn't flake or cake.

I thought I'd tried them all, alas, finally I found one that I love. This is not greasy, slimy or shiny. It feels and looks very natural; I'm a big fan!
I chose the medium/light and it's perfect for my skin tone. It has enough coverage for me, but doesn't look like I have a full-face of makeup on.
Love this 5

I don't wear makeup everyday due to having sensitive skin, but started a skin care regimen for my face and wanted to try a tinted sunscreen. I got this and I love it! So smooth and covers up any blemishes I have at the time. It's super lightweight, but gives great coverage. I wear it almost everyday, it's convenient, I use my fingers to apply, spreads so smooth. I have combo skin (oily t-zone) & it doesn't make my face greasy or break out. Definitely recommend!
