Drybar diffuser doesn't fit; shorted in Europe
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I assumed the Drybar diffuser would fit the travel buttercup, since it's the only one they make, but it doesn't. Very annoying - please consider making a travel size/matching diffuser for curly hair. Also - mine shorted out within a few minutes in Switzerland. I checked voltage, etc and was advised it would work. But it shorted and now no longer works.
Died after less than 2 yrs
Maybe my expectations are too high, but I had a Speed Freak that lasted well over 10 years before dying. I've only had this drybar dryer since Nov 2022 & it suddenly stopped working yesterday. I should have stuck with anithet Rusk Speed Freak.

I am a debar loyal fan but I've purchased two of these travel dryers and both shorted out. I have long hair and unlike the regular size version blow dryer, this one can't handle a full sweep down my hair without getting overloaded. Sadly, I do NOT recommend this product at all.

Worked okay for a while, but now it's not as powerful as I'd like. Conair offers a 3 year warranty, but Drybar's is only 2 years - I'm sticking with a less expensive option. Not worth the cost.
Don't buy this product for the dual voltage capability.

I bought this hair dryer because of the dual voltage capability. I am in New Zealand , plugged in the dryer with the appropriate adapter and the dryer turned on and then became so hot it shut off and will not restart with either an adapter or converter. There are no instructions as to how to change voltage and there is no obvious switch. I am very, very disappointed in this product. This is second Dry Bar product I have bought that I have been dissatisfied with. Never again..
