HOW TO CONNECT
• Download the MyDyson™ app and create your account.
• Plug in and power on your Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ multi-styler and dryer and add machine to the app. Bluetooth® wireless technology must be enabled on your mobile device.
• Follow the steps in the MyDyson™ app to pair your Airwrap i.d.™. Airflow will be active as you pair.
• Once paired, power off your Airwrap i.d.™. Continue set-up in the app to enable features such as the i.d. curl™ personalized curling sequence.
• Take the simple quiz on the app to set up your personalized hair profile. Your Airwrap i.d.™ will automatically tailor its settings to match your styling preferences.
• Now, you're ready to wrap, style, and set your curls with the touch of a button. Power on your Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ and slide thumb up on power button to begin i.d. curl sequence.
STYLING TIPS
• For best results, start with freshly washed hair.
• Stretch: Use the Wide-tooth comb attachment to shape and lengthen curly and coily hair as it dries.
• Define: Use the Wave+Curl diffuser to define and shape natural curl patterns. Dome mode (without prongs) enhances and defines natural waves or curls. Diffuse mode (with prongs) adds volume at the root, for more texture.
• Curl: Use the Fast dryer and Firm smoothing brush to take hair to 80% dry and smooth before styling. Use the Conical barrel for a defined curl. Power on your Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ and slide thumb up on power button to begin i.d. curl sequence.

Mine died on day 1…TWO MONTHS LATER…no replacement
I bought two Airwraps for my adult daughters. One stopped working mid-style and it never turned back on. It's been 2 months and I haven't received a replacement as promised. I'm so disappointed with the customer service response for a customer who spent this much money.

Very bad performance at such a high cost
I'm extremely disappointed with Dyson's customer support and product longevity. My Dyson device stopped working shortly after the warranty period ended. When I contacted customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do, despite this being a premium, high-priced product marketed for durability and quality. No troubleshooting support, no repair options, no goodwill assistance — just a flat refusal because the warranty expired. For a brand that charges luxury prices, this level of post-purchase support is unacceptable. I expected better reliability and accountability from Dyson. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Dyson products unless you're prepared to replace them entirely once the warranty ends.
It's OKAY
I've had a Shark for well over a year. The only reason I decided to try the Dyson air wrap was because it was $100 off, I had a 20% off coupon and I had a lot of Ulta money saved up. I really don't have long or super thick hair, it's about armpit length and it's fine. The large round brush, is more of a medium sized brush and it does not grip my hair well at all. My shark oval brush does just fine and is larger. I can use my Shark curling heads on completely dry hair and the curls are great and stay. The Dyson, jus playing around with the conical head, the curls fell very quickly. I think the Dyson does dry my hair faster and it feels smoother, less tangled after drying the dampness off. I am torn about keeping it tbh. Is it worth paying full price, or even $100 off? I'd say no. I paid about $250 for it after the sale, 20% off and my ulta points and honestly, that's really all it's worth. If you're choosing betweeb the Shark and the Dyson air wrap, don't just buy the Dyson for the name or because you assume it will be better because of the name. The Shark is more user friendly, curls last longer and you don't feel like you've blown your money. I'd also like to say that the filter cleaner was NOT in my package anywhere with the Dyson and that's super irritating.
Not worth the price if you have loose curls.
I don't have tight curls. They're very much loose almost wavy. This brush doesn't give enough proper friction with the ROUND BRUSH attachment to the hair strands to straighten it down enough. My hot tools version grabs better with the better support of the bristles. My hot tools version also gets hotter to help flatten hair strands better. It does feel more LUXE to have a smoother comb though with the bristles for their round brush attachment on this Dyson vs the cheaper alternative options, but I sincerely think it should be $200-$250 at best. Also very annoying that the price has decreased 4x since I purchased mine. Ulta does NOT price match these drops or promotional offerings and do encourage you to return and repurchase in order to get a better deal. If you use the curling attachments more - you can possibly justify the price. Those seem to work pretty well. I only like to flatten my hair. Overall I am returning it today.
