Really seals in color
So far this has stopped my semi-permanent purple dye from bleeding onto even white clothes when my hair is dry, even immediately after dyeing it again. I have been using this in tandem with color preserving shampoo and conditioner from Aveda, so not sure if it's this product alone, but it seems to help. It makes my hair look glossy, and because it doesn't have any hold (preferable for me since I use hairpsray after), it doesn't leave behind a crunchy feel compared to other heat protectants. Only caveat for me is that it's expensive for how much you get and how much I use, even on short hair. I use this every time I style, even if I haven't freshly washed my hair, but I always blow dry on low heat before using a flat iron. The water in this formula makes me a bit nervous about using hot tools on my hair before it's completely dry, since the instructions do not explicitly state it can be used that way.

Unfortunately, this stuff seemed heavy on water and also left my hair feeling dry an brittle, likely because of the hydrogen peroxide in this product. I love Redkin otherwise, but This product line isn't great and wasn't helpful at keeping my hair glossy and the color in tact a little longer.
