Sharing the whole system review but tldr: Definitely improved curl pattern. Had to pair with a styling product (I used mousse) but style it and watch your curls come to life! Not too much buildup and pleasant fragrance. Received this as a gift, but I would buy this product! I have wavy / loose c...urly hair (2C/3A) and saw a difference in my curl pattern (more 3A). I lost about four inches of length when my hair was styled! So curly and received many compliments on how beautiful my curls looked. For context, I did sample all three items in the system. The shampoo has the luxury shampoo fragrance and it felt like a treat to wash my hair, similar to having your hair washed at a salon. I do wish it was a little more clarifying to wash away more product buildup. It's a little on the runnier side so it's easy to dispense more product than I'd like at a time. Overall, I'm happy with it. Conditioning was your standard, apply after washing, rinse. I liked the fragrance but enjoyed it in the shampoo more. I did enjoy the consistency and would love if Redken made a deep conditioning mask! This curl cream! As an experiment I tried the curl cream with a regular non-curly shampoo and I saw my pattern improve. Usually the end of my hair is more wavy but there were more curls! As a cream, there wasn't much hold but when I combined it with a mousse and styled with a Denman brush, man, did I see a huge difference! I've always had trouble rocking two day or three day old curls because of the way products leave my hair feeling like there is too much build up. I was able to wear my hair curly three days in a row and maintain the curls. Lastly, I went back to my regular shampoo and felt the difference, it appears that this acidic bonding formula really helps support your curl pattern without weighing down your hair. The price is a little steep for a hair system so that's something to keep in mind. But, I loved the way my hair looked and would purchase the system!
