- For faster results, towel dry hair to remove excess water, then run a comb through damp hair to detangle for best results.
- Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet and adjust the switch to the selected setting. Use the LOW setting on fine or thin hair and the HIGH setting on thick and coarse hair. Use the COOL setting to lock in the style.
- Separate hair into manageable sections.
- For smooth blowouts, place the dryer close to the roots and brush down toward the ends. The mixed nylon-pin with rounded tips quickly detangle, while tufted bristles with boar technology gently grip hair to smooth and promote shine.
- For voluminous blowouts, place the dryer under the hair close to the roots and roll outward to the ends. For extra lift at the roots, hold the dryer for 2 to 3 seconds under the roots.
- To curl ends IN, place the dryer UNDER the ends and hold or 2 to 3 seconds before rotating inward. To curl ends OUT, place the dryer OVER the ends and hold for 2 to 3 seconds before rotating outward.
- Repeat on remaining sections until hair has been dried into luxurious, voluminous styles.
- When drying is complete, wait for the dryer to cool before storing. Do not wrap the cord around the dryer.

Love This Dryer - Hot Tools Are The Best!
I have only used Hot Tools Professional line of hair tools. Started using them back in the '90's when I discovered them when the brand was Helen of Troy, who the Hot Tools line is under. I love this dryer for how quickly and easily it smooths my naturally curly hair to be completely straight, alon...

Please be careful
I want to preface this by stating that I have been using hot tools blow drying brushes for over two years now. It has been by far my favorite. I have had issues with the detachable dryer twice now. The first time it made a weird noise and it was blowing air very weakly. This time around I got a repl...

Much Better
Verified Buyer
Much better than using a blow dryer and round brush. Been getting compliments on my hair saying looks great! And your hair is smoother.
Money wasted - twice used now broken
I bought this brand new and was very excited to have detachable version since i lost my non detachable version. Too bad after trying to use for thr thrid time, it no longer gets hot. I tried everything to fix it and it really cant blow hot air anymore.
Great dryer but died
I loved this dryer. My hair looks like I had a blowout. The only problem is that I have only had it for 5 months and it no longer works. Does anyone else have this problem? I don't know if I will purchase this again. Too bad because it was the best blow dryer brush I have ever used. And I have used pretty much all of them.
Don't roll the cord
Maybe everybody that's complaining that this dies so soon should make sure it's not user error. User error meaning rolling up the cord, it's not meant to do that. It's clearly stated as well.
Beware of damage
I really like this blowdryer for special occasion use. My hair is very curly but more on the fine side so it tends to be pretty fragile. I used this on high weekly after shampoos and my hair was breaking off due to the tension and pulling and how hot the dryer gets. It makes your hair really straight and it works really well. Just be really careful that this is not for everyday use if you have fine hair. I wish there was a warning label or something for it. Not great for all hair types but still a lovely product.
