This brush was recommended for base make up. It is a nice brush but the $12 brush I had been using worked just as well.

I was so skeptical about buying their new synthetic brushes. I loved the old ones and I have many of them. I must say that with some of the old ones I had some shedding issues. I first bought the 150s which I loved. My old one is in a very good condition seems brand new and comperring them the new one is much softer no shedding and blends as well as the old 150. I bought the 135s which I looove for bronzer and waiting for my 182s. They are great and sooo soft like a dream. I definetly reccomend this to anyone!!!

Having very dry skin I was having a hard time setting foundation with powder and a brush. This brush is fantastic for setting if you use a light pressing motion and not too much poweder . Works great with mineralized skin finish and mac fix plus spray. Also my dry skin girls I have been mixing mac waterweight foundation with mac mineralized liquid foundation and this has been a life saver for flakey dryness. May not work for you but if you are having a hard time finding a foundation that wont accentuate dryness and flaking give it a try!

While traveling I realized I left my foundation brush at home. I stopped by MAC at the Atlanta airport and grabbed a brush similar to the one I had at home. The associate told me the brush I picked was more for contouring and if I just wanted to apply foundation I needed this brush. I trusted her and paid this ridiculous price thinking I was getting a great brush. It obviously isn't even for liquid application and the fibers shed like crazy. After putting makeup on there are black fibers all over my face. I have since started using it for bronzer, since that's what it's actually for and it's garbage.
Pass on Mac's Synthetic Brushes = The Worst 1

I LOVED my Mac Powder Brush 101, which had natural hair (cut, not skinned of course). The synthetic brush doesn't work well and grabs way too much powder. Hate it. I have 40+ Mac Brushes and for the first time in 21 years, I'll shop elsewhere for brushes. Hate the synthetic!
So Disappointed 1

MAC has changed all of their brushes and they are terrible. Not the same shape or texture and they don't perform at all the same. Yet the price stayed the same??? Not worth the money anymore.
My first purchase 4

This brash is not my favorite however it is my fist brush purchased 18 years ago. It is good quality. I still use it daily with bronzer and highlighter and sometimes loose powder. Mac brushes may seem pricey but they are defenetly are worth the money. They will last you long time... just don't forget to clean them

I asked an associate on chat for a recommendation for a fluffy bronzer brush that wasn't synthetic and would give a diffused, bronzed look. She pointed me towards this brush. It is HORRIBLE! Unless you want an orange forehead and chin, with patchy orange cheeks, stay away. I have used cheaper brushes with the same exact bronzer and gotten a better look than this. I wanted a fluffy brush, not a tapered brush. And unfortunately I can't even return this garbage brush because I've used it. What a disappointment for my first MAC brush purchase.
