I apply the soothing and barrier support serum then the hyaluronic acid and finally the rose hip oil. However when I put the rose hip oil on my face and massage it into my skin it feels like it's peeling? And its a pink tint so I feel like it's stripping away the soothing barrier support serum, is this normal ?
- Asked by J
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there! This sounds like it could be product "pilling". Normally, when this happens, we recommend applying less product (2-3 drops should be enough for the face) and allowing each product to dry before applying the next. We hope this helps <3Was this answer helpful to you

Outstanding products
I've been using this product for two years now, along with Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5, Retinol 1% in Squalane, and the Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I am 65 years old going to be 66 soon. My face has changed so much that people who see me now don't recognize me. People who meet me for the first time thin...

Love this product
I absolutely love this product. Adding it to my evening routine has left my skin so soft and glowing. I have always had a problem with my skin looking dehydrated no matter what I added to the routine and this has been an absolute game changer. Will continue to keep this on hand!
Moisturizing
This oroduct helped fix the dry patches inwould get on my nose. U dont need more than two drops. Super hydrating and leaves skin nourished
Skin irritation
This product did not work for my skin. It irritated the skin around my eyes, and caused red bumps around my forehead area. If you have sensitive skin i would stay away, i might use it for my hair or nails but not my face!
Great for beard
I brush this through my beard nightly, and it's never looked better. Does not aggravate my seborrheic dermatitis.
