as someone with dry skin, I've used bare minerals products before and generally appreciate the clean, vegan cruelty, free formulation, especially fragrance free that's my big yes unfortunately this particular foundation powder left my skin, looking flaky and dry. I love Bare Minerals makeup, so I was super excited to try this Pressed Powder Foundation. As I'm getting older, I prefer liquid foundations over powder, due to the fact that they don't settle or cake into my fine lines and wrinkles, but for a powder foundation this is a winner in my makeup bag. I wore the loose version for many years and definitely like this version better because it's way less messy and super easy to apply (I use a face brush instead of the sponge that comes with it), it has SPF coverage (which is a huge plus for my light, sun sensitive skin), it is a perfect color match, so my face doesn't look mismatched to the rest of my body (available in 30 different shades), and it makes my skin look smooth and close to flawless in pictures. However, I wouldn't use this as my everyday foundation. While I would purchase this to have on hand for picture days and other events, there are some things I don't like, such as, the way it cakes on my skin in certain places, it highlights my fine lines, pores, and wrinkles, and the sponge that comes with it does a terrible job of applying the powder. Despite the negatives, I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family that are looking for a powder foundation, but I would also inform them of both the pros and cons that I came across to let them decide for themselves if it's right for their skin. I really like this pressed powder foundation! The coverage is flawless. I love that it has sunscreen, and it is really easy to apply. Very pretty packaging. Thie color I received is just a little light for my skin tone but otherwise I'd purchase again.

I usually don't reach for pressed powder, but I loved this formula!! It wasn't cakey and went on smooth. Color match was also great and loved that it had SPF! My new favorite product.

I absolutely love this pressed powder foundation! The coverage is beautiful. It's lightweight but buildable and it gives my skin such a smooth, even finish. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't crease or settle into fine lines, even after a long day. Plus, I love that it's SPF 15 for some added protection.
