What is this supposed to smell like? I'm obsessed with Murad products, so I decided to buy this toner. The reviews say it smells great and citrus like. Mine smells like chemicals, almost like I'm putting whiskey on my face. It gave me an immediate headache. Did I get an expired bottle maybe? I intend on shipping back if this is not normal?

What is the difference between Essential-C toner and the Hydrating toner?

- Official Answer By MuradThe Hydrating Toner helps to rebalance and hydrate the skin while using peach, chamomile and cucumber extracts to calm and soothe. Lecithin aids in hydration and also the protection of the individual cells. A powerful blends of vitamins C, E and grapeseed extract protect the skin from free radical damage. The Essential C Toner contains alanine, proline and lysine along with other amino acids help to condition the skin while restoring balance and fighting free radical damage. What is the percentage of Vitamin C in your Vitamin C toner?

- Official Answer By MuradFirst let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary. What I can share with you is that Dr. Murad creates formulas based on a result not a percentage. I'm not blown away by this toner. I got it because it's alcohol-free, but the spray top is really annoying. I usually put toners on a cotton ball, which is better for wiping away impurities, and this just kind of sits on the skin. Either that, or I spray it onto a cotton ball, and it wastes some of ...

I really enjoy this toner! It feels refreshing on my skin, smells amazing, and gives me a nice boost of hydration without feeling heavy or sticky. I've noticed my skin looks brighter and more balanced since adding it to my routine. Definitely a product I'll keep repurchasing.

I love this product so much. Quite frankly I use most of murads line but the Vitamin C line is my favorite. This tone leaves me skin glowing and has improved the overall texture of my skin. My skin is smoother and brighter!

This is my first time using a toner and I wasn't disappointed. It doesn't dry my skin. It does feel refreshing. The scent is not strong and after being consistent on using it my skin felt pretty nice. I'm definitely buying again. I like how I can just use a cotton ball and apply the toner on it to wipe it on my face.
