Most Helpful Positive Review This works great for me and my hair!
I was pleasantly surprised how well this tool worked for me! I had read some reviews by people who absolutely hated it. However it had more positive reviews than many other blowout brushes from cheaper brands. I think part of the reason it works so well for me is because I have very fine hairs. I have a lot of hair but it is very fine. I do have permed hair, but my hair is naturally super straight. So my hair likes to be straight and having my hair damaged a bit helped with volume. The main issues others complained about was not being able to actually dry their hair in a timely manner. You do have to rough dry your hair before using the brush for best results. Or let your hair air dry for a time. This allowed for the brush to blow dry the rest of the way while straightening and adding the volume to your roots. If your roots or ends dry faster than the rest you can always add moisture back in. It won't hurt anything. I find that the better I rough dry my hair the better my blowout turns out. It doesn't frizz up my hair too badly. And I use products in my hair to combat that. Most stylist will use something to help frizz. My stylist used a smoothing cream. I use Living Proof thickening cream and their root lift spray. I like the way it works with my hair. It did take me a few different sessions to really get the hang of it, so don't be afraid to try it a few times and do different things to it to see wha works. The third tome I did it it was pretty close to how I came out looking from the salon! Do those who say it does not work for them, maybe it's their hair type, or maybe they didn't rough dry their hair enough. The people who didn't like it don't seem to want to use it in the exact way it's meant to be used. But most of the blowout dryer brushes are not meant to be used on soaking wet or only towel dried hair. So if you want to try this brush, I say go for it. It is worth the money if you figure out how to use it.

I was so excited to receive this product. I'm a die hard fan of drybar. I adore their curling wand and their hair products are next to none. I heard all kinds of horror stories about the revlon curling brush, but when I saw that drybar made their own I felt pretty comfortable using it.
I'm extremely disappointed. If you are considering purchasing this, here is the biggest warning i can give you: DESPITE THE DESCRIPTION SAYING OTHERWISE, THERE ARE NO REAL HEAT SETTINGS.
There are three settings on this thing: "cool, medium, hot". The "cool" is cold. The "hot" is hot. The medium is actually just the hot setting, with the air not blowing as hard. Most hair dryers have two settings. One that contains "cool, medium, hot" and another that controls the "speed" of the air. This product does NOT have this. It takes forever to dry my hair on the "medium" setting because the air is so slow, but the "hot" setting fries my hair and makes it frizzy. It does provide some extra volume, but causes it a lot of frizz around my roots so I'm not sure it's worth it. Especially considering how expensive it is.

This was nice but not the salon blow out it promised.
I have natural curly hair and I've had better blow outs with a regular blow dryer.
This is meant for straight to wavy hair. I like a more polished look so a flat iron was necessary after using.
I'll be returning this unfortunately.
Don't think twice just do it

Don't think twice just make the investment! I have thick curly hair that I struggle to straighten. Used this once and it is fantastic. I waited too long to get this! A game changer!! Great deal at 20% off right now.
I'm glad I invested in this

I previously purchased the Revlon blow dryer brush. The Revlon fried my hair, made it frizzy and was always extremely hot. I decided to spend more money and invest in the drybar blowdryer brush and I am glad I did. The drybar has different heat settings that work. It actually cools when on the cool setting. The cord is extra long for reach (bonus) and it handles nicely. If you're considering a blow dryer brush, consider this one. I found it worth the money.
Would give more stars if I could

I was very weary of buying this product because I have extensions and have to be careful with my hair - I was shocked with the out come - wish I had gotten sooner. There is no need to dry and straighten your hair - it is done as you dry! Love that it has different settings - cool or warm, high or low!! VERY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Loved it!!! Does what it says and doesn't heat up like other blow dry brushes. Best investment ever.
My favorite brush blow dryer
Silked out from Columbia, MD
I bought this because I love the concept of a round brush blow dryer. I tried the cheaper Revlon version first and that dryer got way to hot and made my hair feel like hay. The Drybar dryer dries just as fast and makes my hair feel soft with lots of body. It's worth the extra cost since it seems better for my hair. I have 3c/4A type hair.

This works so well! It is light weight and simple to use. It took 10 minutes for me to go from wet hair to salon style blow out. I got so many compliments at work.
I not buy again

This is such a good product! It gives a nice sleek look, and it definitely doesn't take long to use. The different settings are a nice feature, and it is very easy to hold and brush through hair. The reason I would give it 4 stars is because it was a bit difficult to get the hang of using it, and it took a few uses to fully use it correctly and get the look I was going for. However, once you get past that, it is a great brush! It is a bit pricey but my other drybar tools last so long that this will probably too. I would recommend buying the Jump Start blowout serum.
Thank you Dry Bar!!!

I read previous reviews about making sure your hair wasn't too wet, so I did some others things for about a 1/2 hour then used the brush. My hair, which is very thick, coarse, and tends to frizz A LOT, was dry and relatively smooth in less than ten minutes. The device was easy to handle, my hair didn't get caught at all which usually happens with round brushes, the bristles grip really well without getting caught in your hair. This is my new go to, goodbye straight iron!
Totally worth it!

I was very skeptical at first. I used the hot tools one starting out and it was great, but very loud and got pretty hot. I was still wanting a less heat damaging one if there was such a thing. Did some research and purchased this a few days ago. 100% worth it! I have curly hair and to dry and straighten my hair it took me over an hour to do. I practically stopped straitening it because it was so time consuming and damaging. This gives me a beautiful straight head of hair with a beautiful soft and glossy finish in 25 minutes. My hair looks so good after using it! I absolutely love this dryer! I just spray in some heat protectant and a leave in conditioner and my hair has body, gloss, and is soft to the touch in 25 minutes.
Loved it, until it stopped working

I received this last month. Used it a handful of times. I absolutely loved it. Today, it won't turn on...at all. Not the quality I would expect for such a pricey item. Truly disappointed
Harley from St. Augustine
I absolutely hate blow drying my hair so I pretty much never do. I read a bunch of reviews of this blow dryer brush and since I typically trust anything Drybar makes I went for it. And I love it!!! I have super thick hair about to my shoulders and I was completely dry, soft, and bouncy in about 35 minutes. I love it this product!!
First off RUN DON'T WALK and buy this!
Rachel from Rapid City, SD
I did not have high hopes for this product because a lot of people liked Revlon best, some even went as far as to say that this one doesn't get as hot. However, when I tried it today I was so impressed. It does get hot and the results are amazing. I got repeated compliments, they thought I went to the salon. First off use a heat protectant of some kind and a professional salon type, I use Chi and Redken because thats what I have in my bathroom currently. Part the hair down the middle after rough drying (skip the rough dry if you have fine thin hair or have been letting it air dry some.) Clip each side of the head. Then take 1-2 inch sections horizontal and clip the rest of that side up. Do this until that part of the head is complete and then complete the other side the same way. Brush your hair when you are completed and use a glossing spray or oil. I use both, Kenra and chi for that step. I'm telling you the results are amazing and this dryer brush is amazing! My husband was even shocked how great it was on my hair. It also got rid of my curls for a sleek blowout look. It also is a time saver. It used to take me 30 mins or so to blow dry my hair and another 30 mins to flat iron. With this no, it took me 30 mins for this sleek look. You will not be disappointed!
Jade from Ga
This was recommended to me to use on my relaxed hair and I love it!! It makes blow drying my hair so quick and easy. I didn't even have to flat iron my hair... I woke up the next morning and my hair looked as if I had gone through it with a regular blow dryer and a flat iron. I typically don't take the time to write reviews, but i had to for this. So worth the $$.
Great blowouts, but device quality not worth premium
meganitwork from Chapel Hill, NC
I've had this product for almost a year. I only wash and dry my hair once or twice a week, so this item has only at most 70 uses. I get great blowouts using this, but the dryer is starting to show a lot of wear, and it's not blowing as well as when I first got it. Most of the tips on the bristles have popped off , and plastic around the whole upper has chipped. This is a cute version of the hot brush, but it is more expensive than other comparable products, and I don't think it offers additional styling benefits, easier use, or durability to justify the additional cost. I'll need to replace this item soon (again, just under a year of ~weekly use), and I don't intend to buy this same product--I'll go for something lower cost with better materials.
An investment, but so worth it
vje403 from Tulsa, OK
This was an investment for me, but one I'm SO glad I made! This thing has transformed my thin curly hair into a voluminous and thick looking trendy style that is so easy to do. I used to blow dry with a round brush and then flatiron my whole head. Not anymore. I use this to dry and straighten my hair, which means I'm cutting down on the damage from my flatiron. The only thing I'm having a hard time getting used to is the fact that it has a dial setting on the very bottom instead of easy to reach buttons.
Game changer for newbie hair stylers
Natalie from Texas
I have never been able to blow dry and style my hair at home. I've fumbled with rollers, round brushes, and straight brushes. Always a frizzy mess with my thick semi coarse hair. The double shot styled my hair, gave it volume and dried it in under 8 minutes!!!!! So easy to use, lightweight and easy to handle. This has officially changed my life. I use to rely on pony tails and clips because my hair always looked so meh. If you can't blowout your hair to save your life, get this. I love the multiple heat settings, even has a cool option!
Yes, I would buy it again.
CARMEN from TX
You can dry & style hair quicker than using a blow dryer & brush.

I owned the other brand (Revlon) and it burnt my hair. After Double Shot came out, I was interested but didn't want to spend the money. Last week, I took the plunge because I was tired of the Revlon brush burning my hair and making it more dryer and frizzy. I AM SO GLAD I DID! This brush is so much better than Revlon. It is easier to handle, it does not burn my hair and it made my hair shiny and beautiful. I am so glad I made this purchase!
Do you believe in miracles?
Lissa J from Tampa
I watched a L'ange tutorial on using one of this blow-dryer brushes and then proceeded to read reviews on different brands. A lot of reviews used this Drybar blow-dryer brush as the one to compare to. So, I didn't want to waste my time with ones that were almost as good as the Drybar, I wanted to just jump to the best. I have to say, I am very impressed. I have very fine hair but I have a lot of it, and it gets tangled very easily. My hair gets pretty frizzy, and it's not easy to straighten. This blow-dryer blew me away. I used the it's a 10 blow-dryer spray for heat protection, and my hair dried so quickly and so smoothly. I look like I just walked out of a salon. Wow, don't think about it, just buy it. This makes me want to try more of their products.
BOUGHT ONE FOR MY BEST FRIEND AFTER I USED IT ONCE.
Diamondgirl from Saddle River. NJ
After years of different products and dryers and straighteners, this is unquestionably the best. Wish the cool mode got cooler otherwise it's wonderful. No more 2 hands w a blow dryer and a brush. Recommend highly.
There are reasons things are more expensive and this is worth the extra money.
So loud afraid of hearing loss!
beach4me from Atlanta Ga
Have tried and used many drying brushes like this. Was excited to get this one. Could not complete even one blow dry because it cannot possibly be within the code for noise level. I would be afraid of hearing loss with this brush, it is louder than any Ive purchased and Ive had quite a few. Had to return this for that reason. Unsure where this was made but be aware it is SO loud.
Do yourself a favor and get it!
Sara from Chicago
I normally don't write reviews unless I'm impressed. This brush is amazing! It gives you the salon blow out look. I even use it on days I workout, don't wash my hair, just use dry shampoo and still get great results! It is pricey, but worth the investment! It doesn't get too hot, is not bulky or loud. I can blow dry my hair in under 15 mins!!
Didn't think I would, but I love it!
Momof3 from Miami, Fl
At first I didn't think it would work that great since my hair is fine, but it left it straight, shiny and soft. I'm still learning how to use it, but it's a great product. And although it does get hot, it doesn't seem to damage my hair as other products would.
