Most Helpful Positive Review This works great for me and my hair!
I was pleasantly surprised how well this tool worked for me! I had read some reviews by people who absolutely hated it. However it had more positive reviews than many other blowout brushes from cheaper brands. I think part of the reason it works so well for me is because I have very fine hairs. I have a lot of hair but it is very fine. I do have permed hair, but my hair is naturally super straight. So my hair likes to be straight and having my hair damaged a bit helped with volume. The main issues others complained about was not being able to actually dry their hair in a timely manner. You do have to rough dry your hair before using the brush for best results. Or let your hair air dry for a time. This allowed for the brush to blow dry the rest of the way while straightening and adding the volume to your roots. If your roots or ends dry faster than the rest you can always add moisture back in. It won't hurt anything. I find that the better I rough dry my hair the better my blowout turns out. It doesn't frizz up my hair too badly. And I use products in my hair to combat that. Most stylist will use something to help frizz. My stylist used a smoothing cream. I use Living Proof thickening cream and their root lift spray. I like the way it works with my hair. It did take me a few different sessions to really get the hang of it, so don't be afraid to try it a few times and do different things to it to see wha works. The third tome I did it it was pretty close to how I came out looking from the salon! Do those who say it does not work for them, maybe it's their hair type, or maybe they didn't rough dry their hair enough. The people who didn't like it don't seem to want to use it in the exact way it's meant to be used. But most of the blowout dryer brushes are not meant to be used on soaking wet or only towel dried hair. So if you want to try this brush, I say go for it. It is worth the money if you figure out how to use it.

I was so excited to receive this product. I'm a die hard fan of drybar. I adore their curling wand and their hair products are next to none. I heard all kinds of horror stories about the revlon curling brush, but when I saw that drybar made their own I felt pretty comfortable using it.
I'm extremely disappointed. If you are considering purchasing this, here is the biggest warning i can give you: DESPITE THE DESCRIPTION SAYING OTHERWISE, THERE ARE NO REAL HEAT SETTINGS.
There are three settings on this thing: "cool, medium, hot". The "cool" is cold. The "hot" is hot. The medium is actually just the hot setting, with the air not blowing as hard. Most hair dryers have two settings. One that contains "cool, medium, hot" and another that controls the "speed" of the air. This product does NOT have this. It takes forever to dry my hair on the "medium" setting because the air is so slow, but the "hot" setting fries my hair and makes it frizzy. It does provide some extra volume, but causes it a lot of frizz around my roots so I'm not sure it's worth it. Especially considering how expensive it is.

So people claim the revlon is the same but it's really not. Revlon is extremely hot and will damage your hair. This one is much more kind on your hair so that's enough to make it worth it. I get beautiful results, barely have to touch my straightener anymore. I have normal, straight hair with layers that typically get wispy or out of control without styling, but this helps cut down my styling time. I debated it for a while and saved up my points but I'm glad I finally got it.
Best Product I have EVER Owned!

I am obsessed with this blow dryer brush! Easily one of my Top 3 things I've purchased EVER! It is not any louder than average blow dryer. I have had no issues w/getting hair tangled or bristles breaking. Wish I would have purchased sooner! I feel bad that my regular Drybar hair dryer is now not needed.
Great styling tool

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She texted me right away after using it telling me her hair was softer, her hair had some curl and that it took less time styling her hair than it usually does. She absolutely loves this tool.

Salon blow out results!
I would NEVER buy again or promote this product...

I was so excited to purchase this product, but after buying it I realized that it does NOT have 3 heat settings as stated .. It has HOT High and HOT low and COLD.. More disturbing is that you can not really clean this product.. Even the cheapest blow dryer brushes come apart for disinfecting and keeping it sanitary... the help line told me to just wipe with water... How is that keeping it sanitary ????? for the price of this unit, it should come apart like most others so it can be properly cleaned... with soap and water.. you can NOT get head oil off with water...
Literally a blow out at home in 10 minutes

I would probably buy this product again.

This is pretty good blowout tool for beginners but for the price I think that it should have been a bit more long lasting. Overall, really nice tool.

Where has this been all of my life? It normally takes an hour to get through my thick curly hair and my roots are still curly. I have to reduce the frizz with my flat iron and the whole process is so time consuming that I dread doing my hair. The Drybar Double Shot took me, and I timed it, 30 minutes. My arms weren't tired. I wasn't sweating to death in this summer heat. It was actually pleasant. It smoothed my cuticle, my hair is soft and shiny, and the best part is it actually straightened my hair AND my roots. No need for the flat iron. I never leave reviews, but I'm literally so blown away by this things I had to share. This is one of the best, most life changing purchaes I've ever made. I totally recommend...also I read a bunch of reviews on the Revlon but opted to spend a little extra to have less heat on my hair. I'm glad I did because this thing still gets pretty hot.
Love it!!! 💕

I am horrible at blowing out my hair. So instead I always straightened it. The double shot blow dryer brush makes it so easy to get that 'hair just blown out' look! I'm obsessed. Definitely worth the money!
Way better than Revlon!!!
Sam from MI
I have very very thick coarse hair and this gives me silky smooth hair!!! I tried the Revlon one first and it was SO hot I felt like it was frying my hair and left it looking frizzy. This one is 100% worth the splurge I have no frizz and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. Also is a bit smaller than Revlon and I find easier to work with and hold. Love it so much!

This product is far better than revlon which was heavy and made my hair feel awful. It made my hair soft and it's very light and easy to use. unfortunately it didn't do anything life changing to my hair so i feel I'm better off with normal blowdrying
Worth the splurge!!!!
GD from USA
I have very long and thick hair and I usually will spend about 45 minutes do give myself a blowout with a round brush. took me 20 minutes to do a complete blowout. My hair is silky smooth and minimal frizz. My husband thought I had my hair professionally done!

really works for hair buoyancy . Also, hair drys quickly.
I had read a newspaper review of the dryer and decided to buy it. The reviews was correct !
I love it !

LOVE this hair brush dryer! I adore Drybar products and they hit a home run with this one! Only downfall is the cost! Its a bit pricey considering you can get the same things for $50 with Revlon. Regardless, I use it every single time I shower! A lifesaver for ladies who love the southern puff without teasing or multiple products. Highly recommend!
Not ONE bad hair day thanks to this!!!

I have never been able give myself a blow out (always had to pay to get one 😕) TILL NOW! 😃 love how smooth my hair feels after using and it gives so much volume ❤️ Plus it is so easy to use! I love it !
Good for Short Hair, Usless For Long
Paige from Connecticut
I liked this product but I feel like the $50 revlon brush would work just the same. It's also such a pain to use on long hair. I would have to dry my hair pretty thoroughly with my regular hair dryer before I could use this. I liked it but I wish I went with a cheaper alternative
Worth the money!

This is the best round blow dryer I have ever had. Highly recommend.

Drys quickly but awkward to use. Hair stays felt. I wanted more fullnes
Overpriced for what you get
Christina from Syracuse NY
I bought this 12/2019 and by June 2020 90% of the plastic tips on the end of the bristles had fallen out. It is a comparable product to the revlon version that is much cheaper. I actually like my revlon more and I'm sad I wasted money on this.
Justi from Topeka,KS
Love using this on my wet hair! It's easy to use, lightweight and dries my hair quickly. I recently got extensions to make my hair thicker and was nervous about how long it would take me to do my hair after I got out of the shower. The Double Shot Blow-Dryer Brush is amazing and has taking all of my thick hair worries away. My hair has a beautiful shine and it is so smooth once I am done.
Worth every penny!!!

Excellent dryer brush. I tried others but this is over the top. Highly recommended.
Overpriced but Good product
Csanders from OKC
I purchased this with $50 credit and 5x points on drybar. I wouldn't say it's worth it otherwise but since I did that I'm definitely pleased with my purchase. Rough dry your hair first. I have mix of course and fine hair. Medium thickness- if that. Large barrel is helpful. Bristles grip hair well.
I've waited too long for this!

I have been growing out my hair due to the "virus" and no haircuts. It's slightly gray but in good condition although it's thinning. Been using the old dryer and round brush routine forever and my arms and shoulders are feeling it now so I thought I would try a good hot brush. It's a splurge but after I used it I couldn't believe the results. Salon quality blowout at home, amazing! Only takes 10 minutes to dry, awesome! Super full volume and no frizz, love it. Wished I had bought this year ago, but happy that I have it now.

It's nice that it's all in one. You don't have to hold a brush and blow dryer. But on the highest setting it is insanely loud, my ears were ringing the entire time. That should not happen.
